Great property. Super clean, nice appliances, hot tub worked. The location was a nice spot to get out for hikes. The WiFi did not work for our stay so hopefully they can get that working again.

This house is in such a beautiful location; mountain views, awesome sunrises, very clean and comfortable. Pots and pans are in tough shape, but grill was super clean. Quiet, private spot with occasional deer too. We'll definitely return if in the area again!

The hosts communications were excellent. When we arrived the place was spotless and welcoming. The WiFi was solid which is good because I needed to attend a few zoom meetings. The hot tub was enjoyed. The bathrobes were much appreciated. We enjoyed the fireplace, the wood burned well. Hope to return again next year.

Excellent views and location.

Stay was short but perfect location as we celebrated my grandsons first birthday. Home was lovely and warm with amazing Mountain View’s.

Enjoyed a nice Columbus Day weekend

Even with some rain for two of our 4 night stay, we had a great long weekend. The cabin was very comfortable and the view can’t be beat!

Christmas Vacation

We came up to the cabin for the second year in a row for a ski trip at Belleayre. We love the views and the proximity to the mountain and how cozy the cabin is!

Beautiful clean cabin in a nice, quiet area in the mountains. The cabin was well stocked. Kitchen was nice for cooking all our meals and BBQ worked well. The view was great overlooking the mountains- very peaceful. Loads of deer and even saw a large black bear walking in the fields behind the house. The road around the house was nice for walking but a little too hilly for bike riding. We did take the bikes down to Margaretville and road on Route 30 which was a nice pleasant ride. Great hikes in the area. The closest town Fleischmanns at the bottom of the hill doesn't offer much but Margareville 15 minutes away has a well stocked supermarket. Did not use the hot tub but it appeared to work. It's located under the deck so for me not in an ideal spot. Nice fire pit area. Nice washer and dryer if needed. WiFi worked. The only negative for me ( it may not bother others) was that I was hoping to be a bit more secluded. There is a house very close next door which when you sit at the fire pit is in full view and no fence in between. I was hoping to let my dog run free and wander but he needed to be leashed so as not to run to the neighbors yard. The property the house sits on is large but most is untamed so not walkable. Beds were too soft for me but wife and kids didn't mind and slept well. Overall we had a nice time and I would consider staying there again.

Welcoming Home

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this home. It was welcoming, comfortable, and cozy even for it's large size. We had plenty of room, it was very clean and beautiful inside and out. The owner's communication was clear, concise, and very responsive. I look forward to staying here again soon.

Catskill Getaway

My wife and I needed a weekend getaway post-Peeper season and this home was ideal. Close to Margaretville, Phoenicia and Windham and tons of hiking options! The views of Belleayre were amazing especially as they are starting to make snow for the season! Hot tub worked great and was hot and ready to go on arrival. Kitchen functional and fireplace great! Enjoyed our stay immensely!

Beautiful Fall Views!

Thank you so much for our wonderful vacation! It was such a peaceful and beautiful spot. We loved sitting on the deck and looking out over the beautiful mountain views and changing leaf colors, and we enjoyed taking daily walks around the neighborhood. We saw so many different animals that we don’t see back home! We had everything we needed to cook dinners and relax in front of a cozy fire and ended every day with a dip in the hot tub. The beds were all so comfy and the house is so clean and had everything we could want! Thanks so much, we hope to visit again!

Great cabin in the Catskills

Overall the property was fantastic. The Red Cottage group was incredibly communicative and responded quickly to any messages. The views and the property were great. The cabin did have a couple of pest issues, but they quickly responded and apologized. The hot tub wasn’t cleaned and there were no supplies for the fireplace aside from wood, but it wasn’t a huge issue and we were able to buy some supplies in Margaretville. Great location, very quiet and tranquil, just some minor issues overall.

Bonus hill

The house was great for skiing at Belleayre, which was just a few minutes up the road. There was plenty of room for a family of 4. The yard was also beautiful. We were lucky enough to have snow on the ground so my son gave my daughter a few basic snowboarding lessons on the hill outside the house. The house was a little chilly, but it was sub zero outside and there were plenty of blankets, space heaters, and the fireplace to help warm the place up (in addition to the main heating units).

Belleayre View Stay

Our stay was delightful. My sister and her husband joined us. Everything was set up perfectly for a ski vacation with my dog. She never did catch that rabbit. The bathrobes and all the amenities (soaps, etc) were a nice touch. Red Cottage kept in touch with us with some maintenance issues. The place is so close to Belleayre and the landscape and everything beautiful. Couldn't imagine a more perfect ski vacation than this. Well more snow but that's not in any one's control.
