House is lovely with great ammenities. Terrific location - easy walk to the beach access w/lifeguard. You can view the lighthouse from the deck which was great for the Corolla 4th of July fireworks. Fenced rear yard was perfect for the dogs.

Elevator is a good amenity for multigenerational families. Also, nice having several bedrooms and fenced in yard for pets. Theater room was a nice addition for young adults and families.

The house was beautiful and equipped with everything you need for a beach vacation. The pool was kept clean while we were there and so refreshing. The hot tub was beautiful and relaxing. The location to the beach was a short walk and the neighborhood was very quiet and family oriented. The house was immaculate when we arrived and communication with the realtor was very professional and timely. Would highly recommend this Home for a family vacation. We had children ages 2 to 14 as well as eight adults and we had plenty of room and enjoyed ourselves very much.

This rental is pretty spectacular. As several in our party mentioned, it had everything we needed and more. The porches and decks were perfect communal areas for the entire family. The pool was clean and enjoyable. We cooked breakfasts most mornings and the kitchen had what we needed. The dryer didn’t function when we got there but it was repaired as soon as possible. We highly recommend this Outer Banks rental for any family vacation!

Great OBX rental!

We have been renting in Corolla since 2005 and this is by far the best property we’ve rented! Easy check in and the place was spotless! Lots of room, great pool and close to the beach. We spent lots of time together on the front porch as well! We plan to rent again.

Great Beach House Getaway!

My family had a great time at this beach house. It's a two minute walk from the beach. There are plenty of things to do in the house and plenty of space for 11 of us. We did have to buy more dishwasher detergent and paper towels. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

Spacious, well supplied, cozy FAMILY space!

There were 14 of us who stayed at Ray & TD's place, 8 adults and 6 children (2 where 2 years old). It was well-equipped and the movie theater room was a huge hit. The beds were comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and serving ware. There was plenty of space for all of us. The hot tub and pool were amazing... all around, we were happy to stay here and would definitely come back in the future!

Disappointing

I was really disappointed in how poorly the balconies and other areas of the house were cleaned. All of the balconies and outdoor areas were covered in spider webs filled with insect carcasses. You couldn’t sit outside without constantly checking to make sure some type of insect wasn’t going to drop on you. To make things worse, the sliding glass door upstairs was missing a screen making it impossible to open the door and allow the breeze to flow due to concern with spiders and insects coming through the open door. Additionally one of the showers had hair covering the drain at check in causing us to spend the initial moments of vacation scrubbing the bathtub. Finally multiple televisions did not work. Having stayed at this property before our family was looking forward to staying here again. I doubt we will be back after the condition we found the property at check in.

Fantastic week in Corolla

Idyllic Home and Location

We enjoyed a lovely week at Ray and TD's 435. The home is just as described and super clean. The kitchen had absolutely everything needed to make us feel like it was our home. We took full advantage of the amenities including the hot tub, pool table and movie theater. The home is also stocked with games and puzzles. Sitting on the porch and eating breakfast was idyllic. The home's location was perfect and we enjoyed many walks on the beach.

Beautiful home close to the beach, but it could have been cleaner

The house is beautiful, spacious and close to the beach. It could have been cleaner as we found what I believe was dog hair on 2 different blankets in 2 different rooms. One guest said there was hair in their shower. We weren't able to sit out on the decks due to the chairs being filthy and their were cob webs everywhere. I understand patio furniture will get dirty but they and the cob webs should have been wiped down. Overall the bedroom sizes were good, the kitchen is very nice and we enjoyed the space.

Large house in Whalehead Beach

A perfectly nice house. 10 adults were comfortable in 5 of the master bedrooms. Everything was clean and in good working order (though the property manager never responded to a couple of minor issues). Downside: it's directly across from the only public parking lot for a considerable distance, which means that the beach access leads to the most crowded part of the beach. Everywhere else we've stayed in Corolla has been less crowded. Also, for the price, the pool area was not particularly inviting and there is no view of anything interesting from the porches.

Ray & TD's

This was a beautiful house, located close to everything. It's 1 1/2 streets back but you can hear the ocean at night on the front porches.
