Love, Love, LOVE

Was this place amazing, yes!! Do the pictures even do it a ounce of justice, no! This is a place that offers it all bar, beach, beauty, activities, and views!! No wonder it's rented out, this much beauty in once place should be shared with everyone!! Olvin & Cindy did a wonderful job caring for our every need, and going the extra mile. This amazing place was safe, fun and beautiful and will be memories that last us a lifetime, thank you!!!

Amazing stay at Vaya Vista

Vaya vista is an absolute dream! Not only is the place immaculately kept, the views are to die for. Perfect for families or for a group of friends. Cindy and her husband are helpful, respectful and kind. We had an amazing time and will absolutely be back. Highly recommend staying here

We loved our stay at Vaya Vista. Beautiful, clean, well maintained house, peaceful serene location overlooking the lagoon. Plenty of decks to sit and admire the view. Grounds are spectacular and pool is amazing. Cindy and Olvin were great hosts and took excellent care of our group. Julia cooked us spectacular meals. Villa is Walkable to nearby beach, resorts and restaurants. Would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a relaxing vacation. Also close enough to Placencia village, easily accessible by golf cart.

Our entire stay was terrific!

Our entire stay was terrific! The cleanliness, responsiveness and the positive attitude of everyone we interacted with was amazing. Add to this, the beautiful scenery and wonderful weather….made for a terrific experience. Can’t wait to return someday.

Everything was amazing! The views, the staff, the beds, the showers, comfortable pool chairs. My only problem was bug bites, but no fault of the property owners. I would definitely stay here again.

Villa was perfect for our family. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy. The care takers were the best. Very polite, accommodating just nice people to be around. Our chef Kenton was incredible. Should have booked him for the full week.

This house is amazing and has a wonderful staff of caretakers

This house is amazing and has a wonderful staff of caretakers. The chef was fantastic and very pleasant. I would recommend very highly. Only thing better would to have been on the beach side rather than the lagoon, and to have more restaurants and attractions closer to the house although most everything was within about 30 minutes.

Heaven on Earth

We had the pleasure of being taken care of by the staff at the Villa Vaya Vista at Placencia. It boasts a three-story villa with a view that makes you believe in Heaven on Earth. I’ve added a few shots that do NOT do this Villa justice. It definitely is a must see in person. The bottom floor opens to an infinity pool that includes a swim up bar area. All right on the edge of the lagoon. The staff keep fresh cut tropical flowers in every room that enhance the beautiful artwork that brings out the local culture and talents of artists from the country. The staff are right here on site and worked harder than I ever have, phew. The staff are never too far away to help with any issues you might have. They were incredibly kind and helpful and ensured we knew where local sites were and how best to get where we wanted to go. We opted in for the private chef, Oscar, who truly made this stay incredible. Three meals a day with a dessert for every dinner (see the photos on my google review for more). I will never forget that mango cheesecake… it’s going to be in my dreams til the day I die. Homemade takes on a new meaning after you try Oscar’s dishes. He is definitely going to be missed when we have to step back into reality. We also went snorkeling and Caye hopping with Adventours with Jason. I never knew swimming with sharks was on my bucket list, but now I feel like I checked off something I can boast about for years to come. Don’t forget to get that fresh pineapple, it makes the pineapple in the states pale in comparison.

More than we had expected

The photos of the villa that are posted in the online advertisements do not begin to do the property justice. All aspects of the property were more than we had expected, it was amazing. The staff also could not have been better, Olvin and Cindy did a terrific job of seeing that everything was clean and well stocked with everything we could ask for. The chef was good, all meals were prepared at the times we requested and nicely presented. Our only disappointment was that all the groceries were purchased for the two weeks before we arrived. Both the lobster and shrimp were both frozen and not fresh. Our concierge, Erica, looked after all our concerns before our arrival, any emails we sent with questions regarding the property or our vacation in general were always answered promptly and with professionalism. Again, she could not have been any better. Thanks for a great vacation!

Amazing place to stay (and get married at) in Belize! ????️????????

We have nothing but incredible things to say about our time staying here in Belize! The villa was BEAUTIFUL!! It's spacious, modern, roomy, and has everything you need! We took our six children, and there was plenty of room for the eight of us. Our kids LOVED the pool and so did we - it was so relaxing, plus the pool bar was convenient to keep drinks and snacks nearby. The caretakers live in a separate unit on-site, and they were just the sweetest people! Cindy and Olvin keep the place in immaculate shape - everything is cleaned and tidied up each day, the sand is raked, and everything is very well taken care of. They are a quick text or phone call away if we needed anything at all or had any questions:) I've got to also give major props to our chef, Omar!! We had chef service for multiple days, and the food he prepared for us deserved a standing ovation every single meal! We have six teenagers, and there were zero complaints about anything Omar made for us, which should tell you everything you need to know:) I think Omar's meals were the thing we all looked forward to most each day! Definitely request him as your chef if you can! We already miss his meals! We also ventured into town a couple times with the golf cart that is provided, and we really enjoyed walking around, checking out the gift shops, and visiting a couple restaurants and ice cream shops. All that said, my favorite part of our trip was......we got married! ???? My husband and I had an intimate ceremony with us and our six children right on the beach at this villa. It was beautiful! The setting on the beach, the gorgeous flowers, and the peacefulness of it all on our own private beachfront was simply perfect. I could not have asked for a more perfect day to marry the love of my life and join our two families! ???? We highly recommend Villa Vaya Vista to anyone visiting Belize! ????️

This was one of the best houses I have ever rented.

From the inception the concierge team was amazing. They invested time to make sure that our expectations were met. Then they went above and beyond. The staff was absolutely amazing. Not one them was out of place. Everything was immaculately clean. The chef, Marvin, was out of this world. He took time to make sure all of our dishes were perfect. Simply amazing.

Beautiful home with gorgeous views! WOW!

The pool area is AWESOME with the ability to be in the sun or shade while in the water. The caretaker's, Cindy and Olvin were so welcoming and went out of their way to be sure we had everything we needed and more. We had the chef do dinner for us one night and it was excellent and a fun experience! Highly recommend. Every aspect of the home from the room layouts, to the furnishings, to the art work is amazing, inviting and comfortable. The art work is mostly from local artist and gives you a real feel for the culture of the area you are visiting. I especially loved the small painting in the pool level bathroom/bedroom! Wonderful experience and am planning to stay there every time I head to Belize !

What a Dream!!!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Villa Vaya Vista where my family of 5 spent 8 lovely days. First off, the villa itself is even more amazing than the pictures show. There are beautiful views from the lagoon in every single room and the outdoor dining and hangout space is top notch. We spent endless hours relaxing by the pool and playing games on the beach area. I was originally hesitant to book because I thought we'd rather be on the ocean but I'm very happy that we decided to stay here instead. The lagoon was so peaceful, it was much less windy and there was no smell of sargassum like there is on the ocean side. The walk from the villa to the ocean is probably 3 minutes, so no big deal. Our cook, Salvadore, had meals for us 4 of the days and they were all excellent. Having to not cook once single time on the entire trip was definitely a highlight for me! We really enjoyed Rise for smoothies and ice cream multiple times which was just a quick golf cart ride away. Azure Del Mar across the street was wonderful for lunch/dinner and cocktails as well. Lastly, (but certainly not least) Olmar and Cindy, the property caretakers, went above and beyond in every way possible. They were kind, personable, and took wonderful care of us and the property every single day. I wouldn't hesitate to book at any property they were working at! In all honesty, I have not even one single negative thing to say about our stay here and won't hesitate to book again next time we come to Belize!

The home itself is stunning — beautifully designed with multiple levels for relaxing and entertaining, complete with outdoor grills and breathtaking lagoon views that make every sunset feel magical. ???? The pool is a true highlight — spacious, sparkling, and complete with built-in bar stools so you can sip a cocktail while soaking in the sunshine. There’s plenty of room for lounging, whether you’re swimming, sunbathing, or just taking in the peaceful lagoon breeze. ???????? Inside, the villa has everything you could possibly need — a fully stocked kitchen with every amenity (even a juicer!), a coffee bar, and the option for a private chef to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Every meal we had was fresh, local, and delicious! ????????????️ Getting around the island was easy and fun with the included golf cart, and we loved being able to explore nearby restaurants, beaches, and shops at our own pace. For a little adventure, the kayaks provided were perfect for gliding across the lagoon — a peaceful way to enjoy the calm waters and surrounding nature. ????☀️ The lagoon itself has its own special charm — tranquil, scenic, and ideal for those who love a more private, serene Belize experience. ????✨ What truly made this stay extra special were the people. Great Vacation with an Amazing Home

I want to start out by saying this vacation was one of the best! We took a girls trip to just go and relax! We did all that with just an unbelievable home with amazing views to go with it! Everything about this place was top notch! The staff that took care of all of us was so welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend this place!
