Beautifully renovated, 125 year old single story, 2400 square foot home located 2 blocks from St Charles Ave. and less than half a mile to Audubon Park/ Zoo, Maple Street, and Tulane & Loyola universities. Open floor plan, ceiling fans, 13 foot ceilings and hardwood floors in every room. With 4 bedrooms (1 king and 2 queens, 1 full) and a loft, our home can easily accommodate 8 (3 couples and 2 additional children/teenagers). The master bedroom suite has an oversized walk-in closet and a large private bathroom which contains a separate shower, a cast iron bath tub, and a double vanity. Internet, WiFi, and 3 TVs are available for your convenience and entertainment. High-end mattresses with extra-comfort protective washable covers and duvets, high thread-count fine linens and towels. Modern kitchen with fridge, pantry, coffeemaker, microwave, toaster oven, dinnerware, double sink, professional series appliances, & a gas range. The dining room table comfortably seats 6. Fully stocked laundry room equipped with a high-efficiency full size washer and dryer. Private back yard deck. Ample street parking available.

While we have lived in Ohio for almost 30 years, we met and fell in love at Tulane, and have always dreamed of living once again near the majestic oaks of Audubon park. When our youngest decided to enroll at Tulane (class of 2018), we knew it was time to fill our lifetime dream. We looked at houses for 6 months and couldn’t find one we liked. But the minute we opened the front door, we knew this was the one. We trust you will feel the same. While our primary residence for now is in Ohio, we travel south every chance we get. But that still leaves lots of vacant weeks for us to share our exquisite home with those looking to experience what it’s like to live in a classic New Orleans home while visiting the Crescent City.
