Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay in Townsend, TN. We are minutes to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We offer lots of sleeping space and 2.5 bathrooms to accommodate up to 8 along with 5 separate outdoor spaces to relax and unwind in your preferred way! Our sweet, comfortable and rustic cabin sits along the golf course with enough trees to provide boundaries when sitting out on the coffee deck or sharing that family meal or when you are taking an afternoon cat nap in the hammock or when winding down for the day in our rockers. Our lower level bedroom also serves as a game room complete with a ping pong table, board games and a large smart TV so you don't miss those important football games! Brand new Hot Tub!

We loved our time at the Redbud Retreat - as other reviewers have mentioned, the cabin is very clean and well stocked! Great for hanging out to watch for animals and fireflies, as well as easy in/out for outings at Smoky Mountains Park, zip lining, mountain coasters, river tubing, etc. Would definitely stay here again!

Cabin had everything we need for my husband and I and 2 adult children to enjoy the long Memorial Day weekend. It was clean, well-stocked, and easy to access nearby attractions. Jo was very responsive to the one question we had while we were there. We even got to see 3 bears from the porch while enjoying the hot tub! We would definitely stay here again!

This was our second stay here and it's still just as awesome as the first time. The house is really nice with a well stocked kitchen. Everything in the kitchen is labeled making it easy to find what you need. The basement has plenty of games to keep everyone busy. We didn't use the hot tub this round. The bears were still very active around the house so keep the vehicles locked and do not leave food in them. The cabin is tucked away on a dead end street so very peaceful with very little vehicle traffic. Always love staying here and can't wait to go back. Best place we have stayed out of all the short term rentals we have done.

The property was ideal accommodations for our three generation, eight member family trip. The cabin was clean and comfortable and the host responded quickly to questions asked prior to the trip. Labeled cabinets and lighting was quite helpful throughout the cabin. My only issue was more with Vrbo's reservation listing, as it read that all fees were included, however, once going into the reservation process, there were additional fees.

The cabin was wonderful for a short stay for our family of 5! We enjoyed the hot tub and the porch. Kids loved the ping pong table too. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean and stocked. We would return!

Great Family Getaway

This was the cleanest vacation rental I have ever stayed in. The attention to detail and labeling made for a very comfortable environment. We will definitely be staying here again in the near future.

Great property!

This was probably the cleanest VRBO we've stayed in. The basement game are was great for the kids, and the hot tub was great after a full day hiking. The location was easy to get to, and the golf course community was quiet and safe.

Relaxing vacation

We enjoyed our stay, cabin was absolutely beautiful and clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of room to relax with our family. We would definitely come back and stay. No complaints!

We found the house to be very clean and cozy. It was especially nice to have the downstairs area. We used the ping pong table, and the tv. We were there for a family wedding, so we did not spend much time at the house, but we still enjoyed it all the same!

Amazing Place!

This is our 2nd family vacation to The Great Smoky Mountains and we absolutely loved it. Redbud Retreat kept us so comfortable. Everything was so well organized and easy for us. We will definitely be coming to this place again and I will remember to bring my golf clubs!

The hosts thought of everything! Appliances from a toaster to a crockpot, plenty of cups, dishes, etc. for our party of 6 adults /1 child. Very clean and super comfortable. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay!! The host was very responsive to our questions and the cabin far exceeded our expectations. They thought of everything and the sweet welcome treat was a nice touch. We want to come back and stay longer next time. This is our new go to spot when visiting Townsend. I now see why it has a perfect 5.0 rating. Everything was labeled which made it easy to find what you need. The spaces were comfortable and perfect for our stay. We even took advantage of the golf course. Check in was a breeze and the selection of games and entertainment made us not even want to leave.

Awesome Getaway

The cabin was amazing. It was clean and very well decorated. The welcome book was a really nice touch. Loved how it had information about the cabin and what was expected for check out. We really liked that everything in the kitchen was labeled. The cabin is in a very active bear community. If you're looking to see bears and other wildlife this is the place for you. We found deer, turkey, and bears used the small patch of woods behind the cabin to get around daily. Everyone loved the stay and we can't wait to get back.

Daughter’s wedding

The home was just as advertised, it was perfect for my family of 6. I would definitely recommend it and return myself. I never had to even talk to the host because they were so good at getting me the information to access the home and there were no issues during our stay.

Cleaning fees?

Have stayed here two times. Love the place and location. For the most part everything is clean however there was someone’s yellow razor in the upstairs bathroom on the floor and it didn’t look like they had cleaned under the couch or chair in years. Other than that it was excellent. You might want to check your cleaning staff as I wonder what the fees are for? Also we had to fix the upstairs bathroom door knob as it was falling out.

The place was perfect - cozy, clean, and many helpful touches (like labels on kitchen drawers, spacious closets, and ample hooks to hang towels, clothes, etc.). Location was convenient to find, and roads/driveway easy to navigate. You’re in a resort community (so you’re not too far from civilization), but you also have rustic privacy (we saw bears and deer and loved waking up to songs of birds). Plenty of comfy spaces to sit inside and outside. Loved the ping-pong table and hot tub. The place is near to Townsend, which has several good eating places (we especially recommend Peaceful Side Social, The Abbey, Snoring Bear, and Burger Master). The “Peaceful Side of the Smokies” is also about 45 minutes from Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg - but much quieter. If you happen to stay over a Friday night and like local culture and music, check out the Rocky Gap Mountain Music jam. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
