Great place for a very short stay, and don’t plan on cooking!
Overall, it was a nice stay! Communication with the host was superb! He contacted me several times to make sure all was well and even contacted me about two personal items left at the house. The check-in was quite easy. The location is quite good and surrounded by hundreds of new homes. The house is in an older neighborhood where dozens of cars are parked on the street and in the driveways! So, it looks looks like a parking lot! The house next door is partially boarded up and overgrown with weeds. It is a quiet neighborhood located very close to a park for the kids.
The home has been partially renovated, and is an overall good shape. The air conditioning system works wonderful, which is important in Las Cruces and there’s plenty of hot There is no access to the garage. Now, here is where it gets bizarre. Every single cabinet and drawer in the kitchen was empty. There is not a single pot or pan or kitchen utensil to be found. The table in the eating area is fully set with plates and wine glasses. In the adjoining bedroom, there is a microwave and cabinet, which contains several plates, bowls ,cups, and a few silverware items, but there are no Drinking glasses. I have never experienced this in a VRBO! Ironically, there was plenty of soap and toothpaste and toothbrushes! There are no cleaning supplies, So, it’s fine if you plan to do absolute no cooking! To be fair, cooking supplies are not mentioned in the amenities list. I just assumed a VRBO home Include them!
