This campsite is amazing. Clean, spacious, and secluded. Joe met us right as we arrived and went over everything we needed to know. All the supplies were there, plenty of pillows!

This campground is amazing! The bath house has hot and cold water, showers, flush toilets, a generator for charging devices, and large sinks for washing dishes. It made camping easy and comfortable! The tents with real mattresses are super comfortable and roomy. We slept safe and sound even in the pouring down rain. Joe is extremely responsive to every possible need - providing propane, water, and trash removal at a moments notice. Some of our family members chose to do primitive camping in their own tents and they had lots of room to set up camp. We really enjoyed the campfire by the pond each evening and the pond was large enough to paddle around in a canoe. Three large propane grills was plenty of space to cook meals for our group. I can't recommend this enough! Joe is the dream host on a dream camping ground!

Joe's Hideaway

Exceeded expectations! Joe has created a wonderful spot to get away from the world and comfortably enjoy natural surroundings. He's a great host and we will be visiting again!

Best camping trip ever

My family and I had a fantastic stay at Joe's Hideaway. The site is perfectly situated and incredibly comfortable. Joe has thought of everything you might need for an amazing experience. He was very responsive and truly went above and beyond as a host. The stars, the fire pits, and the bullfrogs in the pond were especially magical. We can't wait to come back!

Weekend Away in a Woodsy Wonderland

Myself and my guests stayed at both Joe's Hideaway and the upper adirondack cabin. Both places were incredible, well-equipped, and perfectly set up. Rosie and Joe think of everything people might need during their stay. Joe met us upon check-in to show us the lay of the land, providing us with cases of water and ice to get our coolers started. He texted periodically throughout the weekend to make sure we had no issues and to make sure we were enjoying our stay. He even showed up one evening with giant sticky buns from a local farm! We had an amazing time at this location and I have never stayed with more hospitable hosts. We hope to come back soon. Thank you Joe and Rosie!!!

This Might Be Heaven

It started with great communication about the property and quick answers to my questions. The property was very easy to find with the directions given. My family booked two nights here for my husband's birthday. As we pulled in to the hideaway, we weren't disappointed. This place is absolutely stunning! The pond is gorgeous and very easily accessible to really fun bass fishing. The birch wood beds in the large tents are super comfortable and the covered platforms the tents are under are just beautiful. The bath house was clean and water pressure was great for showering. Seeing a homemade plate of cinnamon rolls as a gift from Joe was awesome as we forgot to bring the birthday cake! The bullfrogs sing you to sleep and if you are lucky,you hear an owl and some coyotes in the evenings. We even had a family of deer pay a morning visit. Joe has really thought of everything, we look forward to another visit.
