Everything was amazing - from the property management to the groceries being delivered by Tortuga Groceries! We will be back! The beach was beautiful, although shells had come up with the King Tide and made it difficult to walk to the ocean from the house - talking to a local, we found that it’s not always like that! Bring water shoes just incase! The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals, and there were multiple places to sit outside, making it incredibly convenient to just show up and enjoy! If I were to give any feedback, I would say the washers and dryers could use some maintenance/updating, but I understand they are in a laundry room that’s outside and they wear more quickly than normal. Also, we didn’t find any “beach towels” so we used bath towels for drying off outside. Not that it was an inconvenience, just something to note. Another thing to note, there is no cable tv, but we got by just fine with streaming services/apps on the smart TVs. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at Rainbow’s End and LOVED the island, this was our first time here!

What an amazing trip. It was paradise. The house and amenities were great, and the property management team was wonderful and had excellent communication. 100% will be coming back.

This property was amazing. Very clean and comfortable. Any issues we had were quickly resolved by the team at Tortuga Properties.

Great location, right on the beach, very private,just an occasional shell collector walking by. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen but sparse spices, no condiments.No cars on island, everyone has a golf cart. The one with this house was in need of repairs though useable for daytime.No real market on island, therefore lug all your groceries on the ferry or engage one of the wildly expensive concierge shopper services. Only two bar grills open when we were there.Nice pool and hot tub open to public at Safety Harbor Club.

We certainly want to address anything that needs attention so that your stay is everything that you had hoped for. Golf carts are our main transportation on the island but they are not meant for sand and constant exposure to salty air so we are constantly performing maintenance on them. The house was very nice and very clean. Boards on deck need repaired at top of steps (tripping hazard). Golf cart had no breaks steering was terrible, no head lights. Screen door was hanging by one rusty hinge. Patio furniture needed a good cleaning. Air Conditioning went out 2nd night we were there. Electrical outlets in bedroom with 2 beds, were broke and loose in the sockets. Host was great about getting back with us in a timely manor. (Duncan and Lori) both great! Views were amazing right on the beach and would definitely rent again if some up grades were made.

Fantastic Beach Location

This location is great to get away and relax. It’s in the perfect spot to watch dolphins, manta rays, manatees, and even a sea turtle if you’re lucky. The property was clean and has everything available to make the stay as enjoyable as possible.

Perfect Location!!

Loved our stay. Will come back next year. Home nicely updated, we had everything we needed. Only cons were the golf cart needed some care and some screens missing on sun porch but the PROS definitely outweighed the cons.Thank you for letting us enjoy this relaxing home.

Excellent location

The house was wonderful. The beach is steps away. Quiet, relaxing trip. Had a small problem with the shower but was fixed immediately. Will definitely be returning.

A touch of paradise

The entire experience was amazing. From the greeting when we arrived and the transition of our items to the house right up to the farewell at the end. This is the perfect spot on North Captiva island. Quiet and relaxing and beautiful.

One of the best on the island!

This was our second time staying at this property and won’t be our last! This is the best part of the island in our opinion and we’ve stayed in numerous other properties. The upgrades are beautiful and everyone associated with the property are very nice, helpful and attentive. Great place for a getaway!

Everything we hoped it would be

Loved this place! Coming from Florida and some really high standards for beaches this place really was magical. Great shells, great water, the owners and property managers were fabulous. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Family summer vacation

This house was the perfect stay for a relaxing beach vacation. Loved the view! It will be a great place to go back when the island is back to 100%. Did miss having restaurants to visit but the grocery delivery service was great.
