Great location and outdoor spaces. Having designated parking was a huge plus. Bedrooms and bathrooms, kitchen, etc were well equipped. Very comfortable stay.

What a wonderful place to stay for a week!! The house was very, very clean and well appointed, off street parking is a huge bonus, and everything we could need for a relaxing time near the beach. A short walk to the water for morning strolls was an added bonus. The back patio was awesome for coffee and a book! Aaron, the host, was very friendly and communicative and check in and out was a breeze. Absolutely would stay here again!!!

Relaxing beach and outdoor space

Our family had a short trip together and wish we could have stayed longer. Easy access to beaches, restaurants etc. Would stay again.

Great Family Vacation

The property was very nice, well stocked, and very clean. It is in a fantastic location and close to all that P.B. has to offer. The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. Would love to stay here again when we come out next year!

Great House Near the Beach

Very clean home not too far from the beach, bay, and all the amenities of Pacific Beach. The owners were very communicative and easy-going. Neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful.

Loved it!

The Succulent House was ideal for our week in Pacific Beach! Clean, comfortable, private, close to all the spots we wanted to visit, eat or shop at. Communication with the host was easy and responsive. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

SD Weekend

Incredible location; walking distance to lots of restaurants and bar, quick drive to the beach and very nice neighborhood. Property supplied all beach necessaries as well. Clean and comfortable house. Would definitely stay here again when visiting SD.

Great spot

Check in was easy, parking in the driveway was a must with how quick street parking filled up. Everything was as advertised. Great location to be close to everything and good food within walking distance. Very pleased, would return again

Lovely!

Very cute unit, excellent location, outdoor space is a nice bonus. Neighborhood is quiet but walking distance to the lagoon and a 5 minute drive to the beach. Some beach equipment (cooler, chairs, umbrella etc) was provided as well.

Great place to stay!

We rented this place for a week of spring break with our kiddos. Super convenient location in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Easy access to great restaurants, beaches, etc. Driveway parking was priceless as the street parking was fairly tight. Kitchen could have been better stocked with spices, aluminum foil, and cooking basics, but had enough pots, pans, and utensils. The outside shower was great for getting cleaned off after a day at the beach.

Nice property that I'd categorize as "shabby/sheek". It was functional, beds were comfortable, furniture was well-worn, and appliances were dated but worked well.Bathrooms were great, but the toilet seats were very worn and should be replaced with plastic ones for effective cleaning and better wear

Loved the Succulent House!

Our family of three loved this place! The location was great. Close walking distance to the beach and restaurants; several grocery store options were within a mile. Nice neighborhood. House was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed, including kitchenware, coffeemaker, bathroom soaps, shampoos; television with streaming capabilities; plenty of throw blankets; plenty of electrical outlets. Convenient driveway to park our car. Operator was very communicative, friendly, accommodating. We would stay here again when in the area!

Shannon- Thanks for being an exceptional guest. We apologize for the cleanliness of the outside furniture. We previously had a sail up for shade and it fell apart at the beginning of the summer. It also (apparently) shielded the furniture from dirt and dust. We have instructed our cleaners to be a little more attentive in light of the change. Vacation Rentals by Aaron

Location is everything in this cozy house!!

This property is ideal for two couples or a small family. It has a cozy and comfortable vibe. The bay and beach are a close walking distance including some of the best restaurants in Pacific Beach. Ralph's grocery is also only a few blocks away. It is also less than half an hour away to La Jolla, downtown and other popular attractions. It is also located in a nice neighborhood. We felt safe walking even late at night. The house was clean and had everything we needed including a well appointed kitchen. In fact, we grilled steaks one night and thoroughly enjoyed a quiet evening at the back patio. The washer and dryer was also a convenient bonus. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!!

Very good location and very good communication with the host. That being said, the property was not in good condition, as follows: Hanging planters on the porch had dead plants in them; significant cobwebs on the porch wrought iron and on the ceiling. The inside of the property is "tired". The dining room wall had a picture, but that is gone and the hanger was left in the wall; paint on that wall is chipped and discolored as is the paint throughout the house. Second bathroom has a significant spot on the door where the paint has actually peeled off the door. Paint on the kitchen cabinets is also chipped and there were bits of food stuck on some of the cabinet doors. While the house was clean, it could use a deep clean especially in the kitchen and bathrooms; we re-scrubbed the sinks and toilets. There was a lot of ant activity in the kitchen and we were continually spraying around the stove and sink to keep them out. The dining room table is really scratched up and the finish is gone. There is an ADU in the back with a year-round tenant; there are dogs and they bark if people are in the back yard of the rental house. Garbage/recycle cans were three quarters full and had not been taken out; we called the host and he had that situation rectified. Overall, the location is what makes this house a good rental. The interior condition is what would stop us from coming back and renting this house again.

I was sorry to hear the property didn't meet the standard it should have — the cobwebs, chipped paint, ant activity, and overall wear you described were things I took seriously and addressed. A deep clean of the kitchen and bathrooms was clearly overdue, and I also looked into the dining table and the picture hanger left in the wall. Location! Location! Location! We loved everything about the location of this rental. The beach, restaurants, coffee shops even a grocery outlet was within walking distance. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. The private driveway was also a bonus! We did have a few housekeeping issues, but those were quickly resolved and the host responded to all my inquiries right away. We would definitely love to stay here again!

Nice little, comfortable home in an excellent location-short walk to the Bay and short, easy drive to beaches. Nice, safe neighborhood and excellent on site parking (a huge advantage in the area). We would stay here again. Communication with host was exceptional.
