Bello, affascinante, recentemente ristrutturato e decorato di recente, questo cottage sulla spiaggia con 3 camere da letto e 2 bagni ha tutto. Situato nella posizione perfetta e tranquilla North Pacific Beach. Circa 3 isolati dalla spiaggia (0,5 miglia) e dal parco surf di tormalina. A pochi passi da meravigliosi bar e ristoranti fantastici. Una posizione straordinaria con arredi nuovissimi, Internet WI-FI, TV diretta con pacchetto NFL, lavatrice e asciugatrice, patio esterno con grill e molto altro. La casa è perfetta!

Outstanding! We had a college roommate reunion and this was a perfect getaway. Fully equipped kitchen, great outdoor space. And owner was VERY responsive.

In a really nice area of Pacific beach, closer to La Jolla, quiet area despite being a corner lot. Had a great time. Only several blocks to the beach.Loved it!!

This location put us close to the beach and not far from the airport and downtown. Close to a grocery store, gas stations, and food.

Perfect spring break retreat

Location and home were perfect for our family vacation. Home owners were very responsive and helpful when we had questions. Quiet neighborhood and short walk to activities.

Great Location In the Pacific Beach area in San Diego me and the family came for a couple days of visit theme parks and this property was beautiful and wonderful location everything convenient and would definitely do it again thanks again

The place was great! A great location. Very easy to get Ubers. The owner Shawn was very helpful and very fast to responding to our needs. I would highly recommend this place.

Had a fantastic time staying at this house. Everyone was impressed. The owner was incredibly helpful and if you needed anything was there to help! Absolutely going to stay here again!

Wonderful Christmas vacation

This was the perfect place to get time with our family and host local family and friends for sweet visits. We enjoyed time in the sun on the front porch and evening dinners in the back patio. We will be back.

Fabulous property.

Super cute and deceivingly spacious cottage walking distance from the beach! Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of clean towels. Bathrooms and linens were very clean. Outdoor patio area made summer dining al fresco a true vacation experience. This host is wonderful! Highly recommend this property!

Family Visit

This house and neighborhood suited our needs perfectly as a family traveling with adult children and a dog. The home was well maintained, the neighborhood pretty quiet and friendly. Walking distance to multiple restaurants, stores and coffee shops. The check in and check out process were also seamless. We would stay here again. Thanks!

Great location

Home has a great location we basically walked everywhere for our meals and went to the beach almost daily. The only time we had to drive was to go to balboa park and to Belmont park. Both were very easy drives. Overall great trip and good accommodations. Would have given it a 5 star rating but some of the appliances were a little dated/worn out (a lot of use I’m sure), similarly with the showers.

Enjoyable

We enjoyed the area and location of the house. We found numerous places to walk to nearby to have coffee, meals and drinks. We actually drove to the beach-at least to get closer -with our chairs, umbrellas etc.. The outdoor dining area at the property was perfect for our family dinners. We were happy sitting outside. We were provided with the amenities we needed for our week long stay. Overall, we enjoyed the location and property.

Weekend getaway

The house is in a great location. Close to everything. Nice setup. Worked well for us. We had a pizza and cake party. 9 people. Place was not crowded. Plenty of room. Safe and quiet. We would definitely comeback.

New Years

This house is close to everything!! We enjoyed the walk down to the beach each morning and grabbing coffee on our way back. There’s also a nice tavern we visited within walking distance. The beds were comfy. Couch not so much. We didn’t use outdoor dining due to cooler temps but liked how it was private if needed, a hot tub would be ideal out there. This house worked great for the five of us!

Fantastic get-away!

We loved this little house on a quiet street in North Pacific Beach. We even met the neighbor who welcomed us and chatted with us about the area for a few minutes. There were 5 of us; four adults and a 7 mo baby so having 3 bedrooms was great. The kitchen was fully equipped, though we mostly ate out, plenty of linens and comfortable beds and furniture. We especially loved taking our coffee outside in the mornings but had trouble deciding which we liked best, the enclosed backyard with a BIG table or the chairs on the front porch. Finally the location was perfect. Close to many beaches and the boardwalk in Pacific Beach, yet away from the crowds and noise. I would definitely rent here again. We had one tiny issue at the front door when we arrived and it was solved in minutes after one quick phone call! Highly recommend!

On the Surface......Great - Devil is Always in the Details

My family and I stayed at this home the beginning of April for 5 nights. We have 5, 4, and 18 month old children and we rent a home once a year in San Diego County and 2 -3 times a year in WA/OR when we travel. Home is in a great location and just outside of the chaos of Pacific Beach but close enough for all of the conveniences and beach. Here are a few things about the home: Although the home has been remodeled it was not the best of job doing so. Finish work and mill work not that good. The beds and pillows were horrible for comfort as the mattresses seemed used as they were so wore out and probably the worst I have tried to sleep in since college days at a Motel 6. Nice new kitchen but not well appointed for cooking meals at home and keeping leftovers especially in comparison to other homes we have rented in past years. In early April the nights can get cold as it was when we stayed and there is no central heat. There are portable heaters to use but with young kids we could not use them due to the heaters getting to hot to the touch for our young kids (An install of ductless HVAC would be a nice addition for both heat and AC as the summers do get hot in SD even at the beach). The back patio is very small and is really the only place to sit a group of people to eat as there is no dining table in the home. Per the pictures you get the impression that the front yard is fenced but it is wide open on the driveway to the street (Shawn did a nice photo job to hide that fact). This was a downer for us given that we have 3 young kids that needed full time attention when outside even when on the fenced patio as the gate latch was broken so they could easily get to the front yard and right out on to the street. Lastly you would think that you would exhaust all means to make a property safe but there is a ladder attached to the house in the back that goes right to the roof. Again not safe for young kids and not sure how they get away with that on their P&C Policy. In my opinion there are WAY better homes like kind in Pacific Beach/San Diego to rent as I have rented them for comparable pricing. Hope this helps all future renters and maybe it will get Shawn to put a bit more money into his home to make it a great rental and overall experience.

I am very sorry this traveler did not enjoy their stay. As I do with all my guests, I went above and beyond to make sure he and his family were happy, safe, comfortable and satisfied. There are many issues Id like to address in this response but I will take the higher road and simply say his review is NOT a reflection of my property.

Owner was responsive and quick to reply on the plus side. On the negative side there was no AC and that should have been declared in bold letters. House was hot when we arrived and stayed that way until the early hours of the morning. Couch was very old, broken down and smelled of wet dog. There were ants in the house and ruined some food we bought and placed on the kitchen counter. I had ants crawling on me when I was setting on the couch. There was hair in the shower drains , the sinks and if you can believe it on the bars of soap. Once we arrived there was really nothing we could do but ride it out. My wife and daughters were very disappointed. Whole experience has caused me to re-examine the concept of home rentals versus the no fuss of of quality hotel chains.

Private corner lot home with great privacy.

Overall a great place. We loved the privacy of this place. The large front window looking onto a large front yard with palm tree coverage, and on a corner lot, gave this home a very private feeling in a typical busy beach community. Home was very clean and comfy. We didn't use the dining room which is outdoors only, but it looked comfy and seats 6. It also has good shade. We could of used additional seating in living room. I worked from the petite designer looking chairs and two-top table and this was totally perfect for one. The petite chairs were not good for watching tv if 2 people are hogging the sectional. The sectional is ready for an upgrade but was cozy and maybe good enough for some. All windows are new and with screens (minor issue with kitchen screen which was duct taped). Beds and bed frames are all new. Bring the following basic essentials though. Paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, dish sponge, etc. For the price of the property I expected to have these covered in abundance. It was not relevant for us, but note this property has no HVAC. I expected no AC but it also does not have heating. It will generally not be an issue, but please note what is 'not' listed as an amenity for this property. Overall, I think this place was a nice find.

Enjoyable and Relaxing

From the moment I contacted Shawn with his rapid response to my questions I knew this would be nice. No contact check in was flawless. I use to run hotels so am a little particular. Home was clean and had all the amenities and more that we needed. Evenings on the patio were special for all of us A little far to walk to the beach but can be done. Quiet neighborhood and loved the off street parking Definitely stay! Except when I want to go back, and we will! Thanks Shawn
