Family Fun

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived with 6 couples and 20 grandchildren. Everyone was excited to check out the house upon arrival. The kids stayed busy in the activity room downstairs-which was a plus for all of us. Everything went well, we had a few concerns and the staff responded quickly. There are many activities and things to do in t he area- and we tried to hit them all, hiking, Mt Rushmore, 1880's train, ATV rental, the park in Lead, state park. You get the idea. thanks for allowing us to rent this home.

It Mostly Fullfilled The Bill

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house definitely slept us all. Very short of amenities, poker chips but no poker table or chairs, no closets except for Master bedroom, no soap for showers, needs a sun shade for upper deck so people can enjoy sitting outside. In other words, it lacked warmth and ivitation

Thanks for your feedback Laurie. It's important for future guests to know that Laurie requested to asked a pet to be at the property, which we declined since it's a not a pet friendly property. Also, Laurie asked us to basically make the property a campground with hooking up an RV's at the property, which we didn't allow. So this review is in retaliation of abnormal expectations we couldn't provide at the property and made it very clear we didn't allow. Laurie and her husband made many threats to us before their arrival regarding trying to make us accept their pets, and turning the property into an RV resort, that were very unprofessional and condescending to our team.

The place was clean and beautiful. It had so much space for us to spread out in. The games in the basement were a hit for the kids. I would definitely stay there again.

We came for a family reunion. Perfect size house with so many amenities. Everyone had so much fun. We enjoyed the kitchen to cook together as a family and the outdoor fireplace to gather at night. Definitely enjoyed our stay.

Complete family get together with 37 total

Awesome amenities in both homes with great location and access. The views in the evening were better than I’ve ever seen. It was felt to be the best vacation we’ve all had together up to this point!! Thanks for a great time at an awesome property!!

19 of us spent 7 awesome days here for the Sturgis bike rally. The house was perfect. Plenty of room to hang out and relax. Multiple refrigerators and an ice maker. Looking forward to coming back.

Our large group had plenty of space to roam and make ourselves at home in this beautiful space! There were lots of options for entertainment between our outdoor adventures.

Great Getaway

Came back for the 4th year with a group of friends. 16 of us came down for the weekend. It was a beautiful house! Lots of space for us to have as our own, yet lots of space to hang out together. The games in the basement was a great bonus. We’ll be back next year.

Perfect place for a large group

Our family of 29 people stayed over Thanksgiving and the house was perfect. Everyone had their own space if needed and the family room, dining area and kitchen were large enough for us to all hang out together. It was close to Lead and Deadwood. The kitchen had everything you would need. We enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it. hereagaiagainanDeadwood

Everything was very clean. The beds were comfortable and most having private bathrooms made the stay more enjoyable. The level entry and several walk in showers made our older relatives feel right at home. Plenty of hot water for everyone. The kitchen was large and easy for group cooking with plenty of seating for all. There was something for everyone in the area. We hope to stay again and have recommended it to family and friends.

Family Christmas in the Black Hills

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family gathered here to celebrate our Christmas early. There was 26 of us, and 9 children under the age of 8. The house was a great location, clean, roomy and broke up with bedrooms on the ends leaving two large gathering areas in the middle, one on each level. The kitchen was well stocked and there was room for all of us to sit and eat together. The large windows were wonderful providing an amazing view and it was beautiful to watch the snow as we sat in front of the fire. The bedrooms were well designed to allow for families with young children. The management was very helpful as always. We have come to this area for our family gathering for many years, so far this is my favorite house.
