They own the right to use the units at specific times each year. Marriott assigns all villas at check-in, whether you are an owner or a guest of an owner. While we strive to accommodate requests for specific view categories, it's important to address this with the rental agent beforehand. As stated in our ad "a specific view type is not implied nor promised by virtue of the images. A specific view category must be addressed with the rental agent. Concierge Realty reserves the right to reserve any view category unless one has been agreed upon in writing." We want to clarify that no specific view category was addressed prior to booking, therefore, your claim of “be careful of the switch” is untrue. Concierge Realty worked diligently to fulfill your request for a two bedroom villa, and that is what you received. We are thankful to hear that the resort management was able to address your concerns and move you to another unit. We also wanted to highlight that by booking with timeshare owners, guests can save thousands over the resort rate while still enjoying luxurious accommodations. Despite this, we do hope that you were still able to enjoy the rest of your vacation on the beautiful island of Kauai.
