Peaceful

We had a very calming, peaceful stay. Home had all the amenities needed, along with wonderful views.

What a wonderful home

It was a family celebration long weekend for our dad’s 90th and Christmas. 3 generations fit very comfortably. But the oceanfront view was the highlight. The hosts were easy to deal with and the home had everything we needed and more.

The view!

We had a wonderful family vacation in this lovely home. Because the kitchen and living areas are on the top floor, everyone in the group equally enjoyed the lofty view, not just those whose bedrooms overlooked the porch. Although the house is next to a public beach access and there were always people on the beach in front of the house, the views and privacy we enjoyed from the top porch made us feel like we were in a world apart. There is an unrestricted view of the left end of the island- gorgeous! We also loved having family-sized porches on 2 levels. A shout-out to the management company, who texted us throughout the week and responded immediately to any questions- outstanding service! Thank you for a memorable week!

Did not meet expectations

The house was not cleaned, did not smell fresh, there were dead bugs upstairs and downstairs, the microwave door was broken, the upstairs washing machine did not work, and the dishwasher on the left side of the sink did not work. The wood on the top steps is coming up with exposed nails, and the carpet in the upstairs bedroom is buckled. Overall, huge disappointment. Will choose another house not managed by Brunswick next time. The home is poorly maintained by management and ownership.
Pest control issues throughout the house.
Left side dishwasher did not work.
Microwave door broken.
Trip hazards on the steps.

Some people just want to complain the whole time they are on vacation and not allow us access to address any of the issues that they bring up. The only things that we were told about were one dead bug three days after they checked in, a washing machine that needed a breaker to be reset, a dishwasher that also needed a breaker to be reset, and the corner of the microwave frame that was coming undone. All issues we could have easily fixed if we had been given access to the property.
