Really a nice property for a family of 11. Everything about it was as advertised. We were all very satisfied. One suggestion: there were a lot of flies at Poipu, so providing a fly swatter at when there are small/teen age children with you who don't consistently close the heavy slider out to the pool area would be nice to have.

Family Reunion

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are a 4 generation, widely scattered family that periodically splurges for a reunion/vacation experience. 16 of us (from 18 78 years) were very comfortable in this property. The pool(s) were a great to relax in after a day of exploration and hiking. We were there during the World Cup so the large TVs also were appreciated. The many other amenities helped make the vacation a special one. Great location, wonderful property, special memories.

Absolutely stunning home that accommodated, comfortably, 16 of us. Just minutes from the beach, shopping centers and delicious restaurants. I would recommend this place again and again!

This home is excellent for a large group of multiple ages. Although not listed, there are indeed toys and books for small ones including beach toys! The proximity to beautiful local beaches and Old Koloa town made for enjoyment on both sunny and rainy days. The homes themselves are well-stocked with basic kitchen items. Thank you for the fresh flowers and treats that were waiting for us!

Love this house!

Our stay was great! This house was very nice and accommodated two families of 6 totaling 12! Had all the amenities and was so close to shopping and the beach!

My family of 15 had a wonderful stay. The house was spacious enough to accommodate our group of 5 families, including grandparents, youth and toddlers. We’ve travelled to Kauai several times as a large group and this has been our favourite house. We will be back.

Wonderful holiday

This house was beautiful, set up perfect for our family of 13. Pools were great, lots of room for everyone in the house. Very quiet neighborhood and very clean. We had a wonderful stay. Hope to come back another year.

Things were very clean. I did find 3 dead cockroaches throughout my stay. So found some termite droppings (frass) in the downstairs bathroom by the bedrooms.Other than that, the house was amazing. Plenty of room. Pool was nice and clean. Lots of flies get in the house so you have to keep screen door closed.

Beautiful house and wonderful location.

The property manager was very responsive and made sure we had a pack and play and a high chair for my daughter and everything else we needed. There were boogie boards, umbrellas, and chairs for the beach as well. Overall great experience and would stay here again!

Family Vacation

This home was perfect for our family of 16. The pool was a hit with the kids. We were pleasantly surprised with the basket of toys for the little ones as well as the cooler and beach gear provided. Highly recommend if planning a vacation with extended family.

Hale Ho'okipa - A Perfect Stay!

We had a party of 16 family members staying in the two homes for a reunion. Management was responsive and helped me understand the layout so we could plan for who slept where. Great location. Walking distance to Poipu beaches, restaurants, and shops. The kitchen is well-appointed. The pool is heated; we enjoyed jumping in after beach time. This is a wonderful location for a large family.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property and hope to be able to do so again in the future. The small pool is heated and has jets like a hot tub. It was fixed midway through our stay, and we really enjoyed ending our last few days there after weathering the Kona storms. We wish it had been functioning through the entirety of our stay, but the owners were great to have it fixed without any complaints from us. And how could we complain? Everything else was so nice--- clean, well-appointed, well-maintained. It truly felt like our home away from home in Paradise. Extras like the game room, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, and coolers helped to make our stay complete. Mahalo!

Great space for a family stay! We were there for a family wedding and there was enough space for everyone! Perfect home base for all the adventures we had, not too far from everything around. There were a few things that were a con, but not a dealbreaker. A couple ceiling lights were hanging out of the ceiling and the bottom bunk bed was broken. And the cottage pool jets were a little finicky. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.

Amazing stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. We were an extended family of 10 ranging in ages from 3 to 85 years old, and everyone loved it. It is new, comfortable and very well equipped, and Brian was responsive and helpful with questions prior to our trip. The pool was a huge hit (everyone took a dip and the kids played in there at least 3 times a day) and there was so much inside and outside the house to keep us entertained. We just wished we had stayed for longer.

Best vacation ever

We got to the house and just said wow. Was a great base for our excursions. Kids had a great time in the pool we even had two pool days which we weren't planning. We greatly appreciate it The Umbrellas and beach chairs as well as boogie boards. We ended up not going out for dinner as often as we planned because the outdoor table set up was great for our group.

Happy 30th!

Family and friends gathered to celebrate our son's 30th birthday (the best excuse to visit paradise!). Our ages ranged from 4 to 68 and there was something wonderful about the property for everyone. We also enjoyed Halloween in Kauai - definitely a fun memory. The house comfortably accommodated all of us with room to spare.
