The Violet Hour is defined as that magical moment between afternoon and evening when the whole

perfectly dreamy fantasy vacation setting from the ocean view balcony to the exquisite décor and
whimsical paint colors.
The living room is large enough for a family gathering with lots of comfortable seating and a flat panel TV. There is lots of natural light and an arched opening into the dining room which hosts a
table big enough for a feast or a fun round of dominoes or cards. The magnificent kitchen is
equipped to cook delicious meals or midnight snacks. The well stocked kitchen is equipped with smooth top electric stove, oven microwave, garbage disposal, dishwasher, side by side refrigerator with large freezer, dishware, utensils, cookware, crock pot, a Keurig, and also a drip coffee maker, and island bar with seating for 2, breakfast tabel with seating for 4 and a separate dining room with seating for 10. There are dishes, glassware,
silverware, pots, and pans provided.
The primary bedroom has a fireplace and a gold-leaf Phyllis Morris canopy king bed. To add to this
luxurious ambiance the bed faces two windows with beachfront views. There are chest of drawers
and a huge closet for storing your vacation wardrobe. You can also relax in your bed watching your
favorite shows on the flat panel tv or sleeping late with the black out curtains drawn. The ensuite
bathroom adds to the opulent surroundings with a giant lighted mirror and long counter for a royal
makeover or just a freshen up. The tub is jetted for a soothing bath and the shower is large and tiled.
There is a walk-in closet and a stacked washer dryer for your convenience.
The three other bedrooms are as sumptuous as the first. Not as big but every bit as comfortable.
Bedroom 2 has a queen day bed and a twin trundle. This bedroom has a private balcony and a large
flat screen tv. Bedroom 3 has a king bed, TV, closets, and a beautiful ocean view and leads into a
jack and jill bathroom. Bedroom four has a queen bed with a full loft bed, a TV, and also connects to
the jack and jill bathroom. All of the bedrooms are provided with luxury bedding and pillows. The
bathrooms have plenty of plush towels, body soaps, shampoo, and conditioner for your
convenience.
The Violet Hour is located in The Dawn Condominiums voted #1 condos in Galveston with a Bahamian village full of brightly
colored seaside huts among swaying palms and red tile walkways. To arrive at your condo you travel up 2 flights of stairs too
the third floor and can’t help but notice the beautifully manicured grounds, two pools open year-
round (one is heated) plus a large hot tub, and several places to grill with ample outdoor seating and
tables. The convention center is only 10 blocks from here along with Walmart, lots of the restaurants
on Seawall Blvd, and Babe’s Beach right in front and all easily walkable! For other fun venues and events the Trolley
stops directly in front of the complex. The cost for a ride on the Trolley is only $1.00 and kids ride
free.
For those who prefer to skip the cooking and enjoy the local cuisine, Galveston Island presents a
myriad of choices. The seawall has a gorgeous view and a long list of eating establishments from
gourmet burgers to fine dining and world-renowned family restaurants. To name a few of our
favorites… The Spot, Mario’s Seawall Italian and Pizzeria, Gaido’s, The Steakhouse (in The San

NOTE: This condo is on the 3rd floor. The view is worth the climb but there is no elevator so guests will need to climb 2 flights of stairs.
