Cassie: Oh my... I don't know where to begin. In regards to the toilet paper, as I mentioned to your husband when I brought you the extra roles, there are normally 3 extra rolls in the bathroom. That was simply a housekeeping oversight and I responded as soon as I was told of it! I wouldn't expect the four of you to survive for 3 days on one roll! I try so hard to go overboard and beyond the expected and predict what one might need to make a vacation seamless i.e. new slipper socks for cold feet, first aid kit, sewing kit, iron and board, baby or dog gate, dog sheets & towels, clothes steamer, blow dryer, shampoo/conditioner/soap, toothbrushes/paste,make-up removers, laundry detergent & spot removers, dog wipes, beach tar remover, aspirin, foot powder, rubbing alcohol, beach towels, extra blankets & pillows, water purifier, mixer, blender, assorted pots and pans, ice bucket, dishes/silverware,lemon squeezer, ice cream scooper, pot holders, cookie sheets/muffin pans etc, serving platters, bbq utensils, paper plates/plastic utin/napkins (even toothpicks), saran wrap/aluminum foil/baggies, flower vases, games and cards, scissors, scotch tape, rubber bands, lint remover, calculator, magnification mirror in bath and hand magnifier in kitchen, Santa Barbara City map, note pad and pen, candy, breath mints, local tourist guides and I even drive over and hand deliver the weekly magazine "Independent" that comes out on Thursdays! These items are additional items, most of which are not even mentioned in vrbo. In the "house instructions" in the drawer under the TV, I mention that if food products are used they should be replenished by the guest that uses them. I don't monitor or supply them. Over time the basics end up there such as salt, pepper, sugar, syrup, mustard, mayonnaise, oil, coffee, tea, jam, etc -most guests don't cook or even make coffee due to the proximity of all the coffee houses and restaurants. The non-perishable food products are just passed on to the next guest.
Well, I guess a prior guest used all the coffee and didn't replace it, I'm sorry about that. I am not sure what you meant by "etc" in your post???? I really don't know what else one might be expecting when they stay at a vacation rental. It is not a bed and breakfast and I can't cook anyway--you really don't want me bringing food! The toilet paper was an oversight which I remedied as soon as I was told about it, I apologize again for the oversite, housekeeping has been notified.
