Our group of eight was comfortably accommodated, and there were plenty of kitchen utensils to help us cook our meals. Just a heads-up, the smoke alarms are a bit sensitive. Turn on the stove vent while cooking and open a few windows and doors. The location is great—about a 15-minute walk to the village, and a beautiful wooded hiking trail at the end of the street.

Perfect Getaway - Close to Village

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is perfect! Super comfortable!

We had a great family get together at Big Bear this year and enjoyed renting this VRBO home for the week. The game room with the pool table and the hot tub were big hits, and the house was clean and comfortable. There were two small hiccups that the property managers took care of IMMEDIATELY, which were ants in the kitchen and a stopped up toilet. As soon as we made the call, they had someone out to take care of the issues without question, and followed up afterward to make sure everything was still good to go throughout the stay. We were highly impressed with the management and were thankful for the quick response to any issue we had while there. I would certainly recommend this home to family or friends in the area in the future. It was close enough to The Village for a quick drive... or a walk if you're young and spritely enough! My 77 year old father was NOT going to be able to make that walk, so we drove there each time. It was a very quiet area, but do keep in mind that there is a walking path right next to the house that many of the people in the neighborhood use frequently...so you will see friendly faces often!!
