We were glad to be able to address the minor items you reported right away so they didn’t continue to affect your stay. For guests traveling with a pup, we do recommend bringing a crate or gate if needed, as those items aren’t included or listed among the home’s amenities. Regarding the pool, our vendor was able to step in quickly and get everything sorted out. It appears the canopy had been positioned in a way that was putting stress on the pool liner, which led to the tearing. Once that was identified, the vendor patched the liner promptly so you could continue enjoying the pool without further interruption. Thanks for the feedback! While this home does accommodate 10 guests, it’s not a hotel-style rental—think beach house vibes, not bellhop service. We send out a personalized digital guestbook before arrival that covers all the important stuff, including what’s stocked in the home (starter toiletries, paper goods, etc.) so guests can plan ahead and avoid any “stranded without TP” moments—which, we agree, is not the ideal way to kick off a beach getaway. That said, we hope it didn’t throw off your trip too much and that you were still able to relax and ease into island time. You’re absolutely right—these older Pensacola Beach homes have that classic Old Florida charm, and for many of our guests, that’s part of the magic. But if a more modern setup is your style, we’re happy to recommend a spot over in 30A that might be a better fit. Appreciate you staying with us, and we’d love another chance to host you!
