It's a great and safe town, I just got back from our own version of the Blues Trail, so we went to New Orleans, Memphis, and Nashville - not like the 'quiet resorts' at all!! Thank you for staying with us and for sharing such detailed feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed the shower and the kitchen, and I appreciate your comments on the size of the bedroom and the layout. I’m sorry that our call left you feeling I did not care about your stay, because that was never my intention. Our listing notes that paper products are not provided, but I understand that running short of toilet paper is a real inconvenience when you are on vacation. After we spoke, I called around to find where you could buy some and phoned you back to let you know where in the town which is a 5 minute walk along the boardwalk.. Your suggestion about tea and coffee is appreciated as well. The lock box was serviced and lubricated by myself about a month ago, but I will check it again to be sure it opens easily. Hi Marjorie! You lucked into a July 4th trip! I do hope you'll book next year too. I hear that they cancelled the fireworks this year, I've seen them quite a few times over the years, Oh, the celebration! And, great to watch them from the comfort of the deck. (Avoiding the crowds!) You're right about walking to everything, park for free, (in the most expensive empty lot on the eastern seaboard) and forget about the car! Thanks for the 5 star rating and the great review!
