To clarify a couple of items, we did not have a confirmed pet listed on the reservation at the time of arrival, so we appreciate you double-checking before bringing Hazel. Regarding the pool, we understand the frustration and appreciate your patience. Prior to arrival, we send multiple communications explaining how pool heaters work in Florida. While we set the heater to 85°, actual water temperature can vary based on outdoor conditions, especially during cooler months with day-to-night fluctuations. For this reason, temperatures are not guaranteed, and this is disclosed in advance. We do offer the option to increase the set temperature as an upgrade in hopes of achieving a higher water temperature; however, results still depend on outdoor conditions, which are outside of our control. Thank you for your feedback, and I’m very sorry for the issues you experienced. We sincerely apologize for the after-hours phone issue and incorrect door code upon arrival. Both have been addressed and corrected to prevent this from happening again. Pool service is a routine necessity in Florida, and vendors typically access the pool area from the exterior. However, we understand the frustration of not having advance notice and appreciate that feedback. Regarding the neighbor, this situation appears to have stemmed from activity in the rear yard that caused damage to irrigation components, which led to that interaction. We regret that this impacted your stay. We did respond to your concerns as they were reported and provided a one-night credit, but we understand the arrival issue affected your overall experience.
