What a wonderful property for a big family get together! The living room and fireplace were a gathering space for us, as the view was spectacular! A large home with plenty of space to spread out. Thank you!

A Tired Home

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view is amazing!The spaces for a family is great! But the home is not cleaned well and there are tons of spiders inside and outside the home. Lots of cobwebs in windows, around doors, etc... I had to sweep the outside front door area, clear spiders off outside chairs, & vacuum the couch and rug under the table as there was dog hair everywhere.

We were disappointed to hear that the cleanliness did not meet expectations during your stay. Since then, we have changed cleaning companies and made substantial improvements to the home, including new kitchen countertops and appliances, refinished/replaced main-floor hardwood flooring, new main-floor furniture, and improvements to the outdoor deck area. We appreciate your comments because cleanliness and presentation are important to us, and we have taken steps to address the issues you experienced.

Property is 100% shaded which we didn't like. The deck is in poor condition and not very pleasant to linger on. The back yard is not maintained. Interior worked very well for us with 4 bedrooms/4 baths. The view of Black Butte was great as was the pasture with grazing horses. Very close to a small, quiet pool which was nice.

Thank you for your review and for highlighting the great Black Butte and meadow views, the 4-bedroom/4-bath layout, and the nearby quiet pool. Since your stay, we have made significant improvements to the outdoor space. The large tree immediately adjacent to the deck has been removed, the main deck has been replaced, and additional trees across the road have been thinned, bringing considerably more light into the home and outdoor areas. Because the property borders Spring Meadow, Black Butte Ranch limits landscaping and maintenance within the natural area behind the home. We value that natural setting and believe the recent improvements have made the deck a much more enjoyable place to relax while preserving the meadow environment and views.

Wonderful house

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed this house immensely. The views from every room are spectacular. Every bedroom has it's own bathroom and the house was equipped with everything you need. The hot tub is a joy with it's own beautiful view and location. The only disappointment was the BBQ which needed to be cleaned and probably did not have a full tank of propane but we ended up not using it. We had to reach out to the property management company because of a bat issue and Kendra responded immediately and resolved the issue quickly and efficiently. Great house, spectacular views, excellent location!

We are glad you enjoyed the spectacular views, 4-bedroom/4-bath layout, hot tub, and location, and that Ponderosa was able to respond quickly to the issue you encountered. We also appreciate your comments regarding the BBQ. Since your stay, we have changed cleaning companies and added a spare propane tank so guests have a backup available. We have also emphasized that the BBQ and outdoor areas should be properly prepared for arriving guests.
