Amazing sunsets and great setup!

We had a large group - 4 couples - and there was plenty of room for all of us! Spent the days tasting wine and then came back to the home to make some great food. We loved the pool table. The sunsets were amazing. We had some windy weather on our weekend but the house was sheltered. Several bocce ball games led into a "tournament" spread out over the weekend. Thank you for having so many options to enjoy at the house. We all felt very much at "home."

Perfect!

We were in town for my son's wedding and this house couldn't have been more perfect!! The host was helpful and friendly! The view was amazing, the beds were extra comfortable, and the pool table and outdoor games were a big hit for my nieces and nephews. Amazing wineries very close by. I highly recommend this rental!!!

Fantastic place to stay!

We had a wonderful wine tasting weekend stay at this property! There was plenty of room for everyone and the outdoor area and man cave were both used every evening after each day of wine tasting. Can't wait to go back again!

Wine weekend headquarters

The house made a perfect base for four couples to wine taste. Comfortable beds, beautiful view, great living and kitchen areas. The boys enjoyed the pool table and we all loved the evenings outside. Perfect location in the middle of the vineyard. Will book again when we return!

Awesome House, Better Location

This house was perfect! So many things to do both inside and out. Loved the yard and the pizza/grill. Not to mention the view was incredible. Alexander was a great host. We will be back for sure.

Wonderful House in a Lovely Spot

We rented this house for our family to stay in during a hectic Wedding weekend at a nearby winery. There are not very many home rentals in the Red Mountain area, and this one was a treat. The house is nice, spacious and has a great kitchen. The yard and view is so pretty. We used the back yard as the spot for our rehearsal dinner, and it was wonderful. The garage man cave room is a great bonus spot. In a couple hours of downtime, my sons (one of which was the groom) and I spent a few precious hours of chill time on the Friday before the wedding. It was such a great space to relax amid a lot of goings on. If you are looking for a place to center from for wine tasting, this house is a fantastic location. It has four bedrooms so is ideal for sharing with friends and/or family.

Great place to stay with family and friends

Klipsun cottage is a great central place to stay - home away from home especially it's proximity to most of the wineries near by. It has plenty of amenities (except a pool :) . We enjoyed staying there - and hope to do so every year.

Beautiful Property

Stayed here for our annual wine trip weekend, there were 4 couples total. After wine tasting during the days, we made pizzas in the pizza oven, played bocci ball, sat by the fire pits and played pool in the renovated garage. Playing pool was like being in a time machine taking us back to the 70s, as there was a stereo system all set up to a 70s station, and we knew every word to the songs - such a trip! Alex was a terrific property manager and was readily helpful prior to our arrival, accommodating, and let us know we could reach out at any time, if need be. For us, the only drawback was there were only 2 bathrooms, one of which was an en suite to the master. But we knew that going in and seemed to manage. Definitely recommend this place if you're visiting TriCities!

Wonderful house!

There were four couples in our group and all bedrooms were comfortable and clean. We brought everything to make our own pizzas and had a lot of fun using the pizza oven. Alexander even came over to help and share his wonderful wine. Great location to visit many wineries and the sunsets were beautiful. We highly recommend a relaxing stay at this great house!

Wonderful stay at Klipsun Cottage - strongly recommended

We stayed at Klipsun Cottage for the second year in a row and it was just WONDERFUL!!! house is spotless, has everything you need, perfectly located. We rented the house with another 3 couples, 8 people all together and we had a fantastic and memorable weekend! We cooked meals in the house taking turns, kitchen is big, clean and you will find anything you need. House is cozy and very comfortable, we played games and outside by the fire pit and yard we had memorable chats. I definitely recommend Klipsun Cottage, we simply love it, it is worth every penny and you will never want to stay anywhere else again. Sincerely, Veronica Guiza.

The only thing I missed while staying here was bedroom curtains. After wine-filled days and nights, the sun ensured that I got up a lot earlier than I wanted to; however, I still had a blast, and I would recommend staying here.

Unbelievable place to stay!

This house is truly amazing! Inside - Exceptionally clean, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, comfortable living room, cozy beds, pool table, awesome decorations, and surround sound inside and out. Outside - unbelievable sunsets and fantastic views, beautiful yards, pizza oven, BBQ, fire pit, horse shoes, bocce ball and more! And on top of that your smack in the middle of vineyards with total privacy, not to mention that you are so close to so many wineries. We have rented many VRBO homes and have never had such a wonderful experience and a better host than Alexander. If you are looking for the best place to stay in the Red Mountain winery area this is it - you will be so impressed!

Wine tasting getaway fun!

Stayed here for 4 days with 7 folks. Beautiful house with spacious rooms , outdoor pizza oven , fire pit, outdoor tables. Kitchen had every appliance we could want. Alexander was available to answer all questions and he also came over to give us a personal wine tasting at the house! It was so much fun and the wines he made were by far our favorite. We'll come back for sure!

Great Stay for Wine Lovers

We had a wonderful time at the Klipsun Cottage. The house had ample room for the three couples that stayed. The floor plan was open and the backyard was a great spot to relax. We loved making pizzas in the outdoor pizza oven. The house itself sits on a hillside vineyard. The sunsets you can view from the yard are worth the trip alone. Not to mention that there are about a dozen Red Mountain wineries only 10-15 minutes away. Thank you for a great stay, Alexander. We will come back.

Best Time Ever!

What a beautiful home - we were here for a girls getaway weekend and could not have asked for a better place. The owner Alexander was very helpful and accommodating through the booking process. Within walking distance to a great winery. We are already planning our return trip.

beautiful place to stay with friends for wine tasting

The Klipsun cottage was a lovely place to stay with friends, right in the heart of Red Mountain. It has a well laid out kitchen with a breakfast bar. I loved the big custom made grill. I wish we'd brought stuff for making pizza, because the pizza oven on the patio looked awesome! The beds were comfy, and the house was well stocked with things to do. We loved this house and plan on coming back to it next year.

Wine Country Oasis

What a way to enjoy the great wines of eastern Washington! The Klipsun cottage is a food and wine experience that is hard to beat. A fully stocked kitchen, 3 outdoor cooking choices (bbq - wood and gas and pizza oven), amazing views, quiet location, at least 5 wineries within 1 mile and perfect star gazing. Great for families too!

Lovely view, comfortable stay!

We booked the cottage for a nice place to celebrate my boyfriend's graduation. The gorgeous view of the vineyards and bluffs made for a lovely backdrop, while the spacious patio and backyard were perfect for outdoor games and BBQing. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and Alexander is accommodating and helpful. The property is well-maintained and so peaceful - especially once the sun's gone down and the stars come out. Our stay was perfect and we absolutely would book here again! Highly recommended.

Must see property!

We rented Klipsun Cottage for a family wedding at Terra Blanca Winery (practically next door). Absolutely the perfect location with all of the conveniences of home, plus! The pictures do not show the great outdoor awning providing shade over the outdoor table and chairs. The home was VERY neat and clean, and comfy beds! We highly recommend Klipsun Cottage and owner Alexander, was fabulous to work with!

We discovered this property in 1980, with an amazing view toward the sunset. Among this arid microclimate we planted wine grapes. We called it Klipsun Vineyards, local Chinook Indian jargon for sunset. This site provided spectacular terroir for growing grapes, culminating in elegant and dynamic wines enjoyed the world over. Thirty years later we continue to contribute fruit to some of the most renowned wineries in our region. The Red Mountain AVA, the most prestigious in Washington, has grown up around us and now offers 13 wineries and 800+ acres of vines.
