Rilassati, distenditi e divertiti sul lago! Il nostro cottage recentemente rinnovato a Stumpy Creek poggia su un terreno di un ettaro, ombreggiato in un'insenatura tranquilla sul lago Norman. Cenare fuori sul grande portico schermato e sul ponte, prendere il sole sul pontile galleggiante e nuotare nella tranquilla insenatura vicino al Lake Norman State Park. Lancia la tua barca dal vicino Stumpy Creek Boat Landing e attraccala accanto al nostro spazioso molo. Amerai l'ambiente tranquillo, ma sei a pochi minuti da ottimi ristoranti e negozi!
Nel 2019, abbiamo portato il nostro cottage da 1200 SF a terra e abbiamo costruito il nuovo cottage della nostra famiglia da condividere con voi. Sappiamo che ogni dettaglio personalizzato soddisferà le esigenze della tua famiglia e del gruppo.

We've stayed at this home for 2 summers and have loved it both times. The layout of the house is great, the location on the water is awesome, and we enjoyed the fire pit and fishing as well.

Terrific house on the lake!

Great views of the lake! House was great for our family with plenty of room for everyone. Host was very responsive. Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in town.

Lake Norman cottage

This house was wonderful, great location, very spacious, great yard. All of the amenities you could ask for. Every one had a great time and would definitely stay here again when we come back.

This was the perfect family retreat for ages 1 to 69! We played with the kayaks, paddle board and the 4 bonus inner tubes on the dock, then we moved to yard games on the lawn followed by card games on the deck. Because they provided folding chairs, we were all able to sit around the dining table(s) together. There was plenty of space for all and we would highly recommend this lake cottage!

My family had a fantastic trip! The house was perfect for our family of six with room for all of us and more. The location on the lake is perfect! We fished, skied, and wakeboarded and enjoyed floating off the dock. This is a great location on Lake Norman and we will be back again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A very spacious & clean property inside and out. Mostly one level living, except the loft for the kids. They did a nice job on the remodel and well stocked with everything you need to eat in. Very close to everything you need on and off the water for a stay at Lake Norman. A boat ramp and park near by, boat rentals, waterfront dining. Plenty of parking including our boat trailer. Level lot right down to the water. The host was very communicative and answered all our questions. We have stayed at a lot of homes over the years (lake & beach). This home is our favorite and will probably return in the near future.

Perfect house on the lake that had everything you can ask for: beautiful home, great location, easy lake access along with kayaks and floats, and a wonderful host to boot. The kids had the time of their lives and can’t wait to go back. Thank you so much for having us!!

Perfect Family Vacation

Our stay at the Stumpy creek cottage was perfect. We had two toddlers with us and the yard was perfect for them to run around in. They also loved the easy access into the warm lake water. The covered boat dock was also very nice to have. The owners were also very nice and helpful with any questions we had.

Beautiful home, well appointed with everything you could need for a relaxing vacation. My husband and I were joined by our adult children and their spouses were a wonderful stay. Days on the dock-swimming and kayaking, and soaking up the sun, evening’s cooking together in the large, beautiful kitchen, games and relaxing on the deck in the evening. Couldn’t have been better.

Amazing Stay!

A great family getaway! Stayed at Stumpy Creek with family and kiddos. Judy and her husband were great hosts. The home was equipped with everything you could need and was extremely clean. The home is beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice. Beautifully decorated and the location on the lake is amazing. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely lovely home

Stayed for Thanksgiving holiday with family. The house and location were perfect. Beautifully decorated, new and clean. The kitchen was perfectly stocked, even for making a big Thanksgiving dinner. We are already planning when to come back in the summer to enjoy the lovely lake! We highly, highly recommend this property!

Great Stay

House was great for our group. We spent a lot of time on the deck, in the water and kayaking/paddle boarding. Being on the cove was perfect with kids and babies in the water. House was well stocked with everything we needed. Judy was quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely rent again.

A wonderful home!

Two families stayed at this property for a week in the summer and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The property was actually nicer in person than it appeared online. It was clean, large, comfortable, well appointed/stocked with everything needed to cook meals and completely updated. We loved having a grill, floating dock and outside seating. We would love to visit again!

Wonderful home for our celebration

Rented this gigeius home for a second time. We needed a spacious place with a high-end atmosphere to host a family get together and this was perfect. As always, the very well stocked kitchen, loads of seating and separate but open gathering spaces made this a perfect spot. Enjoyed time by the fire lakeside sipping wine and star gazing. What a great weekend!

This property is unique in that we have a partially shaded 1 1/3 acre lot, giving you the privacy that you need, but open to water deep enough for any size boat. There is room beside our dock to keep your boat in this quiet cove.

From Water: You can reach many marinas, restaurants and bars within a short boat ride.

From Land: Mooresville's shopping areas along Exit 36 on I-77 are close by (within 5 minutes of grocery stores, Target, etc.). Enjoy close proximity without the traffic!
