Within 45 minutes, you can hike Bradbury Mountain or Pleasant Mountain, kayak the Presumpscot River, or head east to Portland, Freeport, and the Maine coast for beaches, sailing, and charming seaside towns. In winter, enjoy skiing at Shawnee Peak or snowshoeing through quiet forest trails.
