Great Vacation House & Pool!

Each year we rent a home in the desert and this is by far our favorite! Pool is extra large and the umbrellas on the tanning shelf with a lounge was a favorite spot. The yard is much larger than the photos and the couryards off of the bedrooms were nice areas if we didn't want to be with the group. We will be back!

Wonderful home for family of 6!

Beautifully maintained house with the best backyard ever! Owner was very helpful and quickly answered any house questions that came up. We loved every minute of our stay and will definitely come back.

Resort-like backyard, well furnished, and in a great location

We stayed here as a group of seven over St Patrick's day weekend 2017. The backyard is perfect for lounging in the sun along with BBQ and two fire pits for entertaining. Its an extremely quiet neighborhood just over a mile from downtown. The mid-century theme of the house is very cool, and the owner is a very accommodating to specifics your group may need - we were a group of guys all looking for separate beds so she had it ready with rollaways. Be advised that the neighborhood/city doesn't allow any form of amplified music, so you will have to keep music to a minimum. I am considering staying again sometime with my family.

Beautiful home, amazing pool!

We loved our stay at Simply Palm Springs! The house was equipped with everything we needed and in a great location. The pool and spa were the highlights of the house for us, we spent as much time as possible there! Nothing beats going outside for a swim first thing in the morning when it's already warm out or hanging out in the hot tub late at night with a nice beverage. And the fire pit in the pool is not to be missed! We only had one small hiccup where the heat on the spa would not turn on for a few hours, but that was eventually resolved. The furnishings inside the house are stunning, absolutely beautiful, so many upgrades and high end finishing's. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic home, amazing pool, in the middle of palm springs, close to restaurants and downtown!

My wife and I along with another couple stayed here in early February for a quick getaway from the rain in Vancouver, Canada. We landed at Palm Springs airport at 3:30PM headed to the grocery store which is only 4 minutes away from the home and gave Linda a call to confirm our meeting time. She was already at the property putting the final touches for our arrival. We were greeted by Linda at the house. Immediately upon walking in, you feel relaxed by the ambiance of this home and pool and are amazed by the thought that has gone in to the renovations. The home shows better than the pictures look online. The kitchen is fully stocked, even with some necessities left behind such as spices, ice, oil, butter etc. The kitchen is massive and fully renovated to a high standard. The rooms were well appointed and bed were very comfy. All areas of the home were cleaned spotless. The pool and built-in hot tub were the best part of this home. You can spend hours outside enjoy the patio, cooking in the outdoor kitchen and watching Olympics from the outdoor TV. We did find the pool quite cold this time of year without heat, so i would recommend requesting heat if you want to spend time in the pool during the cooler months. The built in hot tub was fantastic and took about 20 minutes to heat up whenever you wanted to use it. Linda can also remotely control the pool and spa if you are having issues, which help us request to turn on the pool heat during out last day of use without here even needing to come to the home. Overall we felt our time here was too short, but we did sure enjoy the home and would love to return to the property for a future visit. Location and neighborhood was great and always felt totally safe.

Beautiful backyard & great location!

We found this home on VRBO the pictures looked just like the home. It was located very close to the airport 10 minutes or so! There were some planes that did fly over but it did not bother us. You have a beautiful outside area. Every room (3 bedrooms) walk out to the yard. The house is well laid out and very mid-century decor. The kitchen is modern and we did cook often. You could spend your vacation in the back yard if you needed relaxation or golf. So, many of courses available. There are some good restaurants and downtown Palm Springs is a short drive away.. There is a grocery store nearby . Really enjoyed our time here.

We loved the place!

Beautiful home and pool. The house had all of the amenities that we were looking for. We loved the retro look...it felt we were living in another Era and vibe! The pool and spas were amazing with plenty of shade in and out of the pool. We will be back for sure! Thank you Linda for a perfect weekend!!! Bill Davis.

Better than photos!!

I just returned from a weekend stay at this property and had an amazing time! The backyard is even bigger and better than pictures. The pictures just can't give it justice. The pool is absolutely breathtaking. There is no shortage of space in the pool for multiple floaties. The house is fully stocked and even included condiments and spices for cooking. Linda met us upon arrival and was so sweet and accommodating. The location is great, short 5-10 minute drive from downtown Palm Springs. We have already discussed our next trip back to this property.

Gorgeous property with a killer pool

This property is gorgeous and has really great furnishings. You can't beat the outdoor living space! The outdoor equipment was difficult to figure out how to use but everything worked well aside from the pool lights. We loved this location!

Amazing outdoor oasis!

We had a great time!! House was clean & welcoming! Outside was our highlight! Pool & spa were amazing! Perfect for families with big & little ones. So much space, nice size pool with shallow area for kiddos, spa, fire pit, plenty of lounge chairs & towels, BBQ area...was so great, thank you!! Would def want to go back & recommend to others!

We'll Return!

I grew up in a mid-century masterpiece, so my wife and I jumped at the chance to rent Linda's wonderful Palm Springs home. First, Linda is a delight. Responsive, helpful and upbeat. Second, she has lavished love on a family home she quite evidently cares for. Every little touch is period perfect and the house is provisioned generously. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient and we absolutely intent to go back. Thanks Linda!

So much potential, so many problems

Let me start out by saying this place is beautiful, and we were all so excited when we walked in the door and saw the whole house, the pool, fire pits and hot tubs. It was unfortunately cold and raining for a good deal of the time we were there so the pool was going to get limited use but we were happy that there were 2 hot tubs and fire pits to be able to keep us warm in the unseasonable weather. Now for the problems: 1. The Pool Spa. We couldn't get it to work so I talked to Linda and she got it working remotely but it was still buggy. The handyman later confirmed that while the water was getting warm there was still problems with it. It wouldn't maintain the temperature for more than 20 or so minutes and then it would shoot scalding hot water followed by ice cold water into the tub. 2. The hot tub. It was broken and we told Linda and she had someone come out the next morning which was great. Unfortunately the news was that it needed a part the wouldn't be in until we were gone. The handyman gave us this information, we never heard anything about it from Linda. 3. The pool fire feature. Would have been great in the chilly weather but it was water logged from the rain, which is understandable. The handyman said that if we told Linda about it, he could come back out and use a shop vac to get the water out. I messaged Linda and she never responded about it. 4. The Fire Pit Table. Lastly, we were excited to be able to sit around the fire in the cold weather. It worked but when it was turned above about 30% there was a very loud and annoying whining noise that made it unbearable. We didn't mention this to Linda until after we left because at this point, there were many things that had been mentioned to her and had not been fixed. I'm a reasonable person. I understand that things go wrong. The reason that I booked this place over others was really because of the 2 hot tubs and 2 fire pits. None of them worked as promised. I reached out to Linda during and after the stay to see about getting a small portion of our payment refunded. She never responded to any of it. Please keep this in mind if she responds to this review. This place could be great. The amenities inside were great, the kitchen was well stocked, there were plenty of towels but for this many things to be wrong is definitely a red flag. By far the most unfortunate part is how Linda chose to handle the problems that we had.

From the decor to the location, this place was awesome. Linda, the owner was amazing and answered every question we had before and during our stay. I would stay here 100 times if I could. The backyard and pool amenities were perfect.

The entire propert was a joy to stay in. Everything was supplied and spotless.

My family thiroughly enjoyed this place. It had everything plus. The pool and outdoors were a major fun areas for all and we enjoyed them all. Absolutely lovely!!!

Best place to spend a rainy week in Palm Springs

Incredible home with first rate imenities! We were "stranded" in Palm Springs with a week of rain and found plenty to do despite the weather. There's lots of room for everyone to spread out inside and outside of the house - and the hot tubs did not disappoint. Linda is a wonderful, caring host - quick to respond when issues arise (like - how do we get the bubbles to work in the spa?). Looking forward to returning and enjoying the space when the sun is shining.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay in this fantastic spot. Host Linda has thought of everything, and the comfortable layout was perfect for our little group, including children. We spent most of our time by the pool and in the shade, but the well-stocked kitchen was the other hot spot. Can't wait to go back. Thanks, Linda.

Relaxing Palm Springs vacation home.

This was our 2nd stay in two years. We had two families with 4 kids and 4 adults and had another relaxing getaway. You will not be disappointed renting this home. The kitchen is well stocked, the house modern and the pool is fantastic. Linda added an outdoor flat panel TV which made it much easier to watch football while lounging outside. Can't wait to be back.
