Due camere da letto più Den, Tall Timbers Cottage è accogliente per dormire 8. Troverai una casa su un unico livello immacolata dall'altra parte della strada rispetto al fiume Potomac, con un servizio di assistenza sul lungomare. A meno di 2 ore da DC questa proprietà è perfetta per una breve fuga. Completamente rinnovato, con una vista mozzafiato sui boschi e tramonti sul fiume Potomac. Adoriamo guardare le luci notturne della Virginia e l'abbondanza di fauna selvatica. Animali domestici ben educati sono ben accetti previa approvazione scritta.

Moderno e per tutto l'anno questo rifugio è dotato di Smart TV, cavo, Netflix, Wi-Fi, docking station, biancheria e qualsiasi altro oggetto che ci si potrebbe aspettare in una casa ben attrezzata, tra cui biciclette, puzzle e caffè Keurig caffè.

Due delle tre camere sono dotate di comodi letti queen-size, la terza è allestita come tana con camino e divano reclinabile (doppio). Il divano letto nel soggiorno si estrae anche in un luogo confortevole dove dormire.

Una facilità di accesso all'acqua corre dalla nostra porta alla paratia del fiume Potomac. Il riscaldamento centrale e l'aria condizionata centralizzata sono sempre confortevoli. Inoltre, ai due camini elettrici, c'è un pozzo del fuoco all'aperto. Tutte le finestre sono schermate e aperte se vuoi sentire la brezza del fiume e ascoltare il canto degli uccelli in primavera.

La pesca e il crabbing per il nostro famoso Blue Crabs del Maryland è un'attività molto popolare, Tall Timbers Private Beach Club è a pochi passi dal cottage. Il villaggio di Tall Timbers e la Marina sono entrambi facilmente raggiungibili a piedi.

Le spiagge, i moli, il faro e il ponte a Piney Point e St. George's Island sono facilmente raggiungibili in auto. Siamo lieti di aiutarvi a prenotare charter di pesca o di crociera sul Potomac con un waterman qualificato. Situato a quindici miglia in auto da Historic St. Mary's City (Campidoglio coloniale del Maryland risalente al 1634) siamo a sole due ore dal distretto di Columbia.

Tall Timbers, la comunità, è in realtà un tesoro del Maryland dimenticato dove il tempo si è fermato. Si compone di due file di case situate tra il fiume Potomac e una fitta foresta boscosa. Relaxing cottage stay

We had a wonderful experience and stay at this cute little cottage. Hosts were amazing as well. Cottage has everything you need. Cute decor, plenty of cookware, towels, linens, TV with streaming and comfortable couch. Communication with host was outstanding and easy check-in and check-out. Will definitely stay here again and strongly recommend to others as a place to stay in the area.

Family Gathering

This is a wonderful special place Tall Timbers, this house was lovely and perfect for our visit. The Lindley’s were very helpful and quickly responded to any communications. Wonderful place, if you have the chance to get away to this is a great place to stay.

Tall Timbers Cottage

This was our second stay to visit family nearby for our annual 4th of July gathering. The cottage is clean, cozy, and comfortable. The owners are fantastic communicators and made sure we had everything we needed. We won’t hesitate to stay again in the future.

Lolly and Lindley are wonderful hosts, and very responsive to an inquiry I had a 10PM. I wasn't expecting a response until the morning, but was pleasantly surprised when my phone rang! Will stay here again!

Very nice property. Beautiful area.

We spent two nights with kids. Great for social distancing. Marina was great too. The beach is not for swimming with kids, but Point Lookout is about 40 minutes drive and family friendly.

We loved having Aida and her family. Great communication and positive feedback. The house keeper was all thumbs up about the condition of the house when she arrived. They though fully sent us notes when they first arrived and as they departed so we knew all was well. It was a true pleasure.

Great cottage and fantastic owners

I recently spent a weekend at this property with my family and my 2 dogs. The cottage is a little jewel that exceeded our expectations. Super clean, comfortable beds, powerful AC, fully stocked kitchen, WI-FI, etc. The communication with the owners was perfect. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Cute cottage

This cottage is cute. The beach is more accessible via car - unless you're willing to walk through other people's back yard/pier. The dining table is great for entertaining. The rooms are a little tight but functional. Ideally a good place to rent for parents with 2-4 kids. Good and safe neighborhood.

Thanks for taking the time to write. I agree the car is an easy way to the beach and you are able to visit many more areas nearby via car, however I do love the walk along the bulk head. I also agree the house works best for 2-6 people. Two of the bedrooms have identical queen beds, the third bedroom is set up as a den with fold down sofa, and fireplace.

Everything we needed!

Perfect from start to finish. Check-in and check-out seamless. Owners were accessible and so helpful. The home is situated in a cozy, peaceful setting near the river. It is well stocked with games, books, kitchen items, etc, very clean, and comfortable. Lolly and Lindley provided us with restaurant and other recommendations that were spot on. Thank you!

Kenda, we take your comments seriously and are looking for an additional light to hang over the dinning room table. The shower drained quite well once we moved the clear shower mat back from the drain, it was completely covering the drain opening. Located across the street from the Potomac River with an easement that runs across the street and to the bulkhead that runs along the Rivers Edge we understand is not the same as the much more expensive on the beach rentals, but the woodland home has many wonderful features.. We love to launch the kayaks into the water at the marina and paddle around the Great Blue Herons, the deer, terrapins, otters and crabs. On occasion we enjoy watching the sunset while gathering around the fire pit in the yard. We are proud to offer a wonderful, clean, comfortable home with a water view at affordable prices.

Weekend getaway

We had some hiccups with a storm taking out the power (and subsequently water, cable/internet) for the first 24 hours of our stay. The property manager kept us updated and helped by providing water. Frustrating and inconvenient situation, but not at fault of the host or property managment!As for the house, it was cozy with adequate space for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. It was well equipped and had everyrhing we needed and was situated in a great little neighborhood on the Potomac. We were in town for a swim meet, but would definitely come back for a quiet getaway to rest, relax and enjoy all the area has to offer.

This Tall Timbers bungalow delivers

I cannot say enough positive things about this rental. The home itself is adorable and exactly as represented in the photos attached to the owners' description. Tall Timbers itself is a tiny sleepy, waterfront community in a beautiful area of southern Maryland. We were there off-season so the marina and other area attractions were closed, but it was still a relaxing getaway. The owners are fantastic and very communicative and helpful. It is clear they take great pride in this property and enjoy "meeting" those who come to stay.

We stayed at this home Ju...

We stayed at this home June 2006 for two weeks. It was everything we were looking for in a vaca home. We have been coming to the the area for over 4 years and were tired of hotels. This was home away from home. Peaceful, friendly neighbors and very relaxing. It is a short drive to many attractions ie: Lookout Point, Solomon's Island, Historic St. Mary's City, Clavert Cliffs and much more. We are looking forward to our next vaca in Maryland and hope to rent the house again. I would highly recommend this property to everyone who would be coming to St. Mary's County on work, vaca or some R&R.

Tall Timbers is a sleepy waterfront community where people pass slow summer days. Huge rockfish are caught in the creeks and crabs from set traps . The adventures are as stunning in the winter, as they are during the summer.

The National Potomac Heritage Scenic Trail is at our front door, there is a wide variety of wildlife and beautiful vistas of Herring Creek and the Potomac River can be seen along this trail. Experienced paddlers may continue onto the open waters of the Potomac River.

Bird watchers may love in love with the creeks.

Explore the many nearby historic parks such Colonial St. Mary's City, Light Houses at Point Look Out and Piney Point, the Maritime Museums at Soloman's Island and Piney Point. Chose from several wonderful local watering holes with fabulous views and docks.
