My 2nd year renting from Keith. Perfect location and you can walk everywhere in Dewey without driving for the whole week. Look forward to next summer.

Such a cute little house right by the beach! Lots of games and beach toys left there to use. Wifi was great. TV was easy to use. Keith made the whole process of check in and check out super easy. Really enjoyed our stay. Hope to go back next summer.

Vacation week

Great location and very clean place. A place like this is hard to find for just two people even though it definitely sleeps more. My wife and I had a fantastic time in Dewey her birthday week. Definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to be close to the beach and in the center of activities including restaurants in Dewey.

Little Piece of Paradise

This place is literally 100ft from the beach. Stayed in Dewey many times in a condo a few blocks way on the other side of RT1. Location of this place can't be beat, unless you're beach front. The price is more than reasonable. The owner is extremely friendly and sent me useful information about happenings in the area. My family had a great experience and would stay there again. Brian

Thanks for the review, but it is about 80 yards from our house to the sand, and another 60 yards to the water's edge. We are ocean block, no streets to cross to get to the water.

A cozy bungalow right near the beach

One of the first things I asked Keith (the owner) was, "Is it noisy from all the traffic?" He said, "No." and it wasn't! This is a lovely small house with two bedrooms, living/dining/kitchen and a bathroom. There were just two of us, but we could have easily had two kids along and still had room to breath. The location is perfect - a 1 minute walk from the beach without having to cross traffic. The house was a nice place to rest and sleep between resting and sleeping on the beach. Dewey is reputed to be a "party" town, but as I said at the beginning, you can't hear traffic, let alone revelers.

Cozy cottage in a great location! Owner was great to eork with and quick to respond to any questions I had. This was the first time we rented from VRBO. We would rent this cottage again!

Ready to book for next summer!

House was spotless when we arrived. Google maps doesn't really give you a sense of how close to the beach...it's like 50 feet before you get to sand. Ac works well. Kitchen had everything we could need. Washer/dryer was a bonus. Short walk to tons of restaurants and stores if you are brining your own linens, the bunk bed is a twin and a full, not 2 twins.

Beach Vacation

Very nice. Roomier than we expected. Lots of places to eat and shop in walking distance. Also, the beach is 2 minutes away. We had a great week.

Perfect location

Just a short walk to the beach, this location was perfect (especially for our young kids). Quiet street but right behind the main drag with many restaurants and shops. Cottage stayed nice and cool at night. Many games, coloring books etc for the rainy days. Thank you again!

Steps from the beach

This place was steps from the beach! Sweet spot with an AC unit in each room that kept it nice and cool. Steps from the Best crab cake around and the popular Starboard which has the best breakfast. There was beach stuff for kids and boogie boards. I love the way the dogs come on the beach in the AM and PM after the lifeguards leave. We plan to return next year!

My long-time reliable housecleaner said she specifically checked all air conditioners before this tenant's stay and all were working fine. For this reason, as well as other aspects of this tenant's behavior, I doubted there was any problem with the air conditioners. However, as specified in the lease this tenant signed, I offered to have maintenance personnel visit as soon as possible to effect any needed repairs. This tenant repeatedly declined such repair visits, demanding instead a full refund. Immediately after this tenant departed, my housecleaner again checked all air conditioners and all were working fine. After the next tenant arrived I asked about the air conditioning and they also said all air conditioners were working fine. We have offered our house for rent on VRBO for 10 years, and I think that out of 29 total reviews, 25 five star and 4 four star reviews speaks definitively about our tenant experience.

Beach block cottage

The cottage was super clean, comfortable, quiet, had cable and Wi-Fi , convenient walk to restaurants and bars but best of all, a 30 second walk to the beach. We loved it and hope to stay again.

Perfect Stay!

We absolutely loved this house, the location and this area! As of first time in Dewey, we weren’t sure what to expect. The home was clean, quaint and the perfect beach home. The beach is right at the end of the road - easy to walk back and forth throughout the day. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely! We walked everywhere for breakfast/coffee, dinner and drinks. Our group was just two adult, but the home could comfortably accommodate more. What an awesome area and stay!
