Thanks! It’s wonderful to hear your family loved it. As I mentioned, I grew up coming to Manzanita when my parents built our vacation house. They were the best memories of my childhood. Eric and I had hoped to pass that on to other families, and it makes us feel great when that happens. Our hope is that when families return regularly to spend vacations at our oceanside Manzanita beach houses, they feel like the houses are their very own vacation homes!

Regarding the dog issue, the guest inputs how many pets one wishes to bring during the VBRO booking process on the VRBO website. The information is then sent to us. When we send the email the information check-in packet, we reiterate how many pets a guest has indicated they are bringing. If the number that was specified during the booking process has changed or is incorrect, it is an easy fix, as mentioned in your case. We respond properly to messages and are here to answer any questions you might have. Otherwise, I am happy you had a fun vacation, and hope you took home lots of wonderful memories!

Thanks Patti! We're so pleased you wrote a glowing note to let us know what a great time everyone had, and that you and your family couldn't imagine a better house to gather in! As I mentioned at that time, we had no idea the new Hansgrohe thermostatic rain shower had temperature control issues, and most importantly we are available to our guests around the clock to help with any issues. If contacted during your stay we could have rectified the situation. The shower is getting cold water - just not enough in the case of someone wanting a cool shower. But don't worry, a replacement was ordered as soon as we heard of the issue from you. The sinks are vintage, and that's the way they work, even with new plumbing and faucets. Those Andersen wood doors do have unique locking mechanisms, which is why we offer instructions to our guests as you mentioned. Lastly, now sure where the 2' x 4' stack of tree limbs to the north of the driveway came from, but luckily there was still plenty of room to fit nine cars in the driveway.
