Questo affascinante cottage dispone di due camere da letto e due bagni e può ospitare comodamente fino a quattro ospiti fortunati. Perfetto per un weekend, questo tranquillo rifugio è a pochi passi da tutti i ristoranti e la vita notturna più caldi di Savannah.

Lo spazio abitativo ha deliziosi mattoni a vista, un camino decorativo e una grande TV che può essere vista in tutto lo spazio. Sia che tu abbia solo una tazza di caffè al bar della colazione o un pasto completo al tavolo da pranzo, la cucina ha tutto il necessario per sentirti come a casa.

Close To Town But Short On Beds

Here's a few things to know in advance: 1.) The twin beds do NOT exist. It is a full size bed. Two of us had to share a bed and that was NOT part of the plan. We had enough beds for each of us to have our own bed, according to the online description. That was not the case. 2.) We are from Louisiana. We are used to humidity and heat. The A/C unit was not as we'd hoped. The middle room (master) stayed cold. The rest of us had fans blowing on us all night and didn't use the blankets much. It was warmer than these old ladies like to sleep. 3.) In the "twin" room there is a skylight. If your plans are to party all night and sleep all day, don't forget you're eye mask. We went to multiple to stores to find masks and were unable to find any. It's VERY bright in that room. If you're like me, you like to sleep in the dark. I might as well have been sleeping outside. No need for lights in that room. It's very bright. The location was good. The place was clean.

Lucky Savannah was a nice place.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Staying at Wakefield Cottage was nice.The bathrooms need to be updated and there was no dish washer which we expected. There is a water leak in one bathroom which I think could be easily fixed. I felt safe walking around and found the location convenient. Did not move our car except to go to my meeting place.

Great location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cottage is perfect for small parties (2 maybe 3). Bathrooms are small with not much space to put cosmetics, etc. We experienced a few problems with the tub leaking in one bathroom and a skylight leaking when it rained in the other. Unfortunately both issues needed repairs that would be intrusive to our stay so we agreed to let them fix it after we left. I'm guessing management needs to walk through the place more frequently or get better feedback from their cleaners. Cleaning people might consider sweeping the courtyard (which was fabulous) and wiping the outside furniture before new arrivals. Otherwise, the place was quaint and comfortable and close to everything (easy walking distance) but on a quiet street.

Great Escape for 4

The decor was lovely, beds comfy and kitchen had just the right items for a short weekend visit for the St Patrick’s Day parade. The pillows on the twin beds were very uncomfortable but Lucky Savannah replaced them at our request. The big disappointment was the leaky skylight in the bathroom. Of course it had to rain and my husband and I were both shocked when we stepped in water in the middle of the night during a bathroom break. We reported to the office first thing in the morning and they promptly sent someone out. The temporary fix didn’t work as it rained again and leaked again. Location was at the edge of the historic district. Would probably stay a little more central next time. 5th time to Savannah and love it more each time.

Cute for tiny family

Adorable place in a great location. We didn't notice on the booking information there wasn't a dishwasher but made eating in with a family of 4 less than desirable (good thing Savannah has such amazing restaurants). A shade over the back bedroom skylight would improve the sleeping situation. Also, I'd suggest getting rid of the barstools and adding another comfortable chair to accommodate 4 people.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Wakefield Cottage was very cozy. I think it would be great for a couple with small kids. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything. The second bedroom is a bit strange. It seems like it was an add on so the heating (and I imagine cooling in the summer) doesn't work as well in the back bedroom. Also you have to walk through the main bedroom to get out of the second bedroom. There was no dishwasher. We were so happy with the management company Lucky Savannah. They were so prompt and attentive to our needs. Even brought us a large pot so I could cook a batch of soup. I would definately rent from this company again as they provided exceptional customer service which made our stay enjoyable.

Girls weekend

This property was very cute and fitting for a weekend in Savannah. It was walking distance to everything in the historic district. The area was quiet, the courtyard was perfect for morning coffee and evening drinks. Only a couple of suggestions for your future renters: the skylight is brutal for trying to sleep past 7am after a night of drinking. Great for natural light, but not during a hangover. Also the rug in the 2nd bedroom needs to be changed or cleaned, its worn and dirty looking. We did have to scoot the living room furniture around a tidge for everyone (3 of us) to be able to see the tv- and I had to use the remote from the bedroom to control the living room tv bc the 4 that were there did not work. Overall cool place and Id stay there again despite those things. Oh- the skylight in the second bathroom is also leaking- that should definitely be inspected.

Great location

Very nice stay with my bff. Walked to everything and there was so much to see and do! Food was great. People were so friendly. The cottage is very quaint and small, yet lovely. The second bedroom appears to be a porch that has been enclosed. It was a bit warm and stuffy, but using a fan took care of this issue. Not sure how it would be in the heat of summer. But the bed was comfy and I really loved the brick walls and vintage decor. Overall a great girl’s getaway trip. Food and drinks in Savannah are awesome!! I would suggest supplying some wine glasses. But we didn’t cook, instead took advantage of the amazing nearby restaurants! I hope to return and would stay here again.

Great stay

This was this easiest rental process I have ever been through. Download an app and go. The app provided every detail for us to get in our house and once in example Wi-Fi pw, codes, checkout. It was very user friendly. Nice clean house, in walking distance to a lot of food and fun places! We had four adults on the trip and had a blast.

The back room addition was a bit warm but we utilized the fans that were provided. One big problem: Big Rain came and we had water leakage by the fireplace in the living room and in the back bedroom. Happened twice - I hope they got that fixed!

Very small bathrooms with no counter space/shelving to place toiletries, the shower is also tight. Living are and kitchen also small. I would prefer something larger. Property was very clean and close to everything we wanted to see while in Savannah. I recommend Lucky Savannah to anyone-just not this particular property due to it's size.

Walking distance to river and E Broughton… less than 30 minutes to Tybee Island… great food just all around the area… will definitely tell others!!!loved touring the historic district with Old Towne Trolley Tours… driver Icie was amazing!!! Highly recommend this to everyone!!!!

Nicely set up - depicts the era. Lovely bistro back yard setting with original brick. This cottage actually was mentioned by name in the book "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil".
