This property has tremendous views and great amenities. Makes it very easy to spend time outdoors. Very responsive property manager, and just a good experience. I would recommend this property, as we had a great time!

This beautiful older home is beautiful. We had a few weather produced issues resolved by owner. It is very well stocked in kitchen and throughout house. Location is great…..scenery outstanding, quiet, and easy access to grocery,etc. We hated to leave this quiet, relaxing environment and will recommend it highly. We elected not to use hot tub prior to visit and this was shared with owner.

My mother and I celebrated her 70th birthday in this gorgeous home . We spend our time relaxing by the pool and taking in all of the beauty of the desert . Ron was a great host , very responsive to all our questions . We saw all sorts of birds , javelina , and even a bobcat strolled by in the early morning . The house was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable . I would stay here again .

Fantastic vacation rental. Beautifully decorated and well stocked home with great pool and hot tub. Stunning views, great location, comfortable beds. Ron is a delightful host. Very kind and helpful. Our 3 generation family fit well. It was easy to travel to the many Tucson attractions. We would definitely stay again if returning to the area!!

First I will start by saying that we have stayed at dozens of VRBO's in several states. We booked this property for Parents Weekend at U of A and had relatives from out of country come stay with us. POSITIVES: Ron was communicative. The view from the property was amazing. The surrounding area is quiet and nature filled. NEGATIVES: The property was not as clean as other reviews suggest. Floors had dirt/debris, especially in the bedrooms; the tub area had visible dirt in the tub; items were broken; the ironing board was stain filled and the iron was broken with loose wires hanging out. The pool heater was broken and Ron (and a repairman) spent several hours for two days at the home, trying to repair it while we were present in the mornings, in pj's and hoping to enjoy the deck area, however Ron occupied it and the back yard. It was not private. We were unable to be outside. The house had many items in disrepair and needs a deep cleaning. Toilet seats were loose and slid from side to side; there is water damage/staining/wall damage around showers; towel hooks/bars loose and barely hanging onto the walls; visible dirt on and around door handles/knobs/light switches/etc. These are just a few. We do not expect perfection and are not clean freaks, but honestly this property could be SO much better with updates/repairs/cleaning.

The guest’s claim of spending hours over multiple days repairing the pool heat pump is false. Anyone who has had a heat pump repaired knows a diagnostic visit and repair do not require days of continuous work. My repairman diagnosed the problem, bypassed the faulty control, explained the situation, and left. The visit took about one hour, the pool reached 88°F, and I never saw the guest for the remainder of their stay . This review is direct retaliation over a disclosed pool heating fee. When he realized he hadn't selected it upon booking, he argued against the charge, but after being shown the explicit listing disclosures, he agreed and requested the pool to be heated. Instead of communicating his concerns during his stay, he photographed isolated minor imperfections, such as a broken iron. This home features a $6,000 Hestan cooktop, Bosch appliances, and a $700 De’Longhi coffee machine. Would an owner investing at this level knowingly leave a broken $29 iron? Absolutely not. A scorch mark on an ironing board isn’t a cleanliness issue . We maintain our homes with regular deep cleanings and continuous maintenance. We let our 20+ year track record and consistent 5-star reviews speak for themselves.

Beautiful Scenery!

Great setup in a great location. Loved getting to explore the Tucson Mountains and saguaros so close. Appreciated the tips from Ron on the area and the home. We enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful house with plenty of room. Amazing view of the city, even better at night. Easy communication with host. Close enough to town you can get what you need without taking a big chunk of your day. Far enough from town to see the city lights and a good amount of stars. Short drive gets you to gates pass and into the national park. All arouns great place to stay

Great Location

We had a really great time at this property. The location is great and the views are fantastic. The owner (Ron) was super responsive to any questions we had and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The house has a great layout and was stocked with everything we could have possible needed. We would stay here again.

Natural Beauty

This house was lovely with a wonderful kitchen and surrounded by Tucson Mountain Park and Saguaro National Park. A perfect location for hikes and easy to get into town for museums and restaurants

The sun shone on the pool til about 5 in the afternoon so you had all day to enjoy it. Hours were spent on the patio.The house was clean and had everything we needed.Granddaughter loved the open spaces and views of the city at night for pictures. Second time staying here and couldn't be happier. Thank you Ron

Fantastic setting, comfortable home

We had a lovely week at Ron's home. For us, the location and setting were perfect, as we were looking to be in the mountains and close to the west side of the park/the desert museum. The home was as described and had more than enough room for our family of five. We used the pool daily. As an owner, Ron was extremely helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.
