Great place to stay. Right on the beach with a great balcony to relax on. One major plus, while silly to some, they hade Corelle dinner ware which is light and easy to load the dishwasher.

This room was amazing! There was plenty of space for everyone, and at a reasonable cost. Easy access to the beach and pool. The only thing my daughter was upset about was we missed the ice cream truck on the beach, lol. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great vacation!

Beautiful spacious condo in a wonderful location. Amazing views of the ocean. Convenient underground parking. We received check in instructions that indicated that condo would not be equipped with beach chairs or basic condiments (eg salt and pepper) but we found that the condo had them. We were a bit confused as to how to access garage when we got there - you need to go to condo first to retrieve garage opener. Staff quickly answered our question. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful condo

This was our second time staying in the Malibu condos. The units are extremely spacious and perfect for traveling with family. The air conditioning was on the fritz when we were there but the property manager had wonderful communication and rectified the situation. We would definitely stay here again. We had a wonderful vacation!

Working in Paradise

The perfect place if you need to work. It’s beautiful, clean, quiet and spacious with a 10 star view. Management did an outstanding job in conveying all information necessary for a late check-in. The unit was impeccably clean! Will definitely return to unit 704 next year.

Beautiful

This condo is absolutely beautiful. It is spacious, well-appointed and so comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much. I would love to stay there again but the pool is shady most of the day. However you can sun on the balcony in the morning.

Stunning Biews

This is a unique beautiful spacious condo, with spectacular views of the ocean and beach. Pelicans regularly fly by at almost eye level, and we spotted a pod of dolphins cavorting in the surf. Condo was well appointed, and very conveniently located near beach access, stores and restaurants. We would most definitely recommend and return to this property.

We found a pacifier in the credenza that is behind the loveseat. We threw it away. Please have them look under the bed as there was things in the front bedroom.Also, the couches were hard as we are older to close for us. But it was a beautiful place and we will be happy to come back. Too bad the weather didn’t participate.

We had a great trip, beautiful condo, Super location! The mattresses wet very uncomfortable in all the bedrooms and the microwave did not work. With 4 teenagers that was a big deal.

This place is wonderful!

This condo is as depicted. We had a great stay, and would definitely come back. The rental managers were very easy to work with and the process went off without a hitch. The sunsets in the morning were beautiful and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the dolphins. The unit is within walking distance of Flagler Avenue and we did that several times. There is a grocery store and a drugstore also within walking distance. We would definitely recommend this place for adults and children.

Amazing!!

We chose this because of the ocean front location and comfy living room (we travelled with an almost 93 year old). Weather wasn’t the most cooperative, however with the view we had it didn’t matter. We had 40 mph gusts of wind from the East which pretty much made it high tide for a few days leaving very little useable beach. Overall this was a wonderful property, roomy, nicely decorated and absolutely Gorgeous views!! The days we were sitting on the beach were heaven! We will be back!

nice condo

Very big, clean, and spacious. New Smyrna beach is not crowded and as commercialized as other beaches in the area. No one ever bothered us. This condo has it's own parking spot in the garage and is secured by two controlled overhead doors. Would be 5 stars if they would update the living room furniture. It's somewhat worn out. Master bed was very comfortable with huge master bath. Had several nice beach chairs in the closet. Will definitely stay there again. It's a corner room so you see the ocean from the side windows also.

Beautiful large condo and perfect beach location

WHOW !!! What a beautiful and spacious condo. Have just spent one week at # 704 The Malibu in New Smyrna Beach, FL. The condo is very large with three bedrooms and three full bathrooms and even when we had company for three nights and our group total was six the condo never felt crowded. And when only two of us were in residence the condo felt huge. The furnishings were very nice, the master bedroom king size bed was super comfortable, and having four TV's kept everyone happy. The kitchen was furnished with every modern appliance and if you needed a chilled mug, you could find them in the freezer as well. The whole Malibu complex is only 28 condos so everything, the pool and the beautiful white sand beach were very close. Parking is on the first ground floor level in an enclosed gated garage and this was very nice and the lobby entrance to the elevators was also key pad coded and that was a very nice safety feature. I had booked the condo through Great Ocean Condos and they were extremely professional and easy to work with. Gary was my contact person and he is sooooo nice. The pictures of the condo look exactly like the condo so you will know what to expect when you book. Also, housekeeping did a great cleaning job and the condo was spotless upon our arrival. I hope we have the opportunity to stay in this lovely condo again.

Could Not Have Been Better!

We have been staying in ocean front condos up and down the Atlantic coast for over 25 years. This condo was the best unit we have ever had the pleasure of residing in! Our 2-week stay was an absolute pleasure. As my 40+ year career was in facilities management our tendency is to expect high quality in our rentals...this unit did not disappoint! There was plenty of space as we only had 4 occupants, but even if we had 2 more, we all still would be more than comfortable. Being an end unit, we enjoyed plenty of natural light and views to the south. We experienced beautiful sunsets on the west balcony of bedroom three. The kitchen had, granite counter tops, quality appliances including an ice maker and more than adequate counter space. The unit was wonderfully decorated as well. We always hope that the minor amenities would be provided, and this unit met most of those expectations which made our stay even more enjoyable such as living room recliners, comfortable dining room chairs, adequate closet hangers and bathroom towel bars and hooks, large screen TV with cable and internet, bedroom TVs with suitable viewing while laying down, strategically placed night lights, adequate and comfortable balcony furniture and spacious bathroom vanity counter tops. Not wanting to spoil this review with any negativity I would be more than happy to share some professional suggestions to improve future stays if you would like to email me for follow up.

Beautiful ocean view...could use some updates

Pros: end unit, 7th floor provides amazing ocean views from the balcony, 3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms very convenient, large dining room table and bar stools provide lots of room for people to eat, access to the beach is super convenient and easy, pool area was clean and we had it pretty much to ourselves each day, easily accessible to downtown New Smyrna Beach. Cons: the A/C works great in all rooms except the back bedroom by the front door where it is at least 10 degrees hotter than any other room, toilet seats need to be replaced in all three bathrooms, shower curtain in back bedroom either needs to be thouroughly cleaned or replaced (the clear one, not the cloth one), the unit could use some updates including pillows on the beds, cabinet doors in kitchen that don't close properly, the pillowcases on the back bedroom didn't match and seemed to just be thrown together, and upon arrival, the cleaning crew had NOT cleaned our unit properly nor did they leave the parking pass for our 2nd vehicle. I had to clean the glass tables, the kitchen counter tops, both the main bathroom and the back bedroom's bathroom which had fingerprints, grease, toothpaste in the sinks, I also had to clean off the dressers and night stands in the bedroom with the twin beds and the back bedroom as there was lots of dust and other people's hair on it which is absolutely disgusting - and to be clear, I am not talking about one piece of hair. It was clear the cleaning team did not take pride in what they did in this unit whatosever.

Entrusting Stay

The Condo was Really nice and the view was Amazing..... unfortunately we had some issues which was not the Realtors Fault due to the fact they don't manage the entire building. our Neighbors decided to have a Party. 2 nights they gathered in the hallway where we had to pass to get to our room and around 12am they were on the balcony screaming and fighting throwing Beer cans in the pool and hot tub, most were teens.. also the pool was pretty dirty my grandson jumped in before i could stop him I pulled a dead snake out of the pool. the pool guy did get there to clean the pool 3 days before we checked out.....stayed 7

Exactly what I saw in on the website. VERY nice unit.

This didn't feel like a rental unit at all. We felt as if we were guests in some ones home.............which we were. This spacious unit has very nice furnishings, appliances, cookware, dishes, linens. The location was wonderful. We loved the spacious balcony which provided sitting for all five adults and then some. Very clean. We plan to make this an annual visit and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

This property is gorgeous! The condo is on the end of the building with lots of windows. There was a hurricane coming our way during the week of our stay so it rained alot. Pretty much everyday. The windows are what saved us. It was so beautiful looking out at the storm. We all commented on how lucky were were to have those windows. I think it would have been a different vacation if we were in one of the inside units. The furniture was very comfortable. It was close to everything. Kitchen had everything. We rented a golf cart for the week and parked it in the garage. The place we rented the golf cart from had a weekly pass to drive on the beach so we didn't have to pay the enormous fee everyday. Drove it to the grocery store and to Flagler Avenue to the shops and restaurants super close by. Beds were comfortable. I would love to stay here again.
