This cabin was a great little get away! Tim the host was very helpful and responsive! The cabin itself was so clean and well stocked! And the price is right too! Highly recommend!

This cabin is wonderful! It was absolutely perfect for my sister and I for our weekend getaway. Perfect location, close to town but far enough away to be quiet and private. What was amazing to us was how the design of the interior of the cabin was so tastefully and beautifully decorated, that we had plenty of room and felt very much at home. Tim gave us perfect directions and cabin was easy to find. I especially loved the knotty pine cabinets and walls, the fully equipped kitchen , the cute loft, and the bedroom and bathroom downstairs. I felt the design of the cabin was brilliant and the use of space for a smaller cabin was incredible. There was even a washer and dryer in the kitchen area! This is my favorite cabin to stay in in Idyllwild so far and I have been coming for years. I recommend this cabin very highly. Thank you Tim for a wonderful weekend and for the beautiful quilts that kept us warm!

It’s a perfect size for a nice getaway in the mountain. We loved the cute kitchen. The selection of dvds was one of my favorite things there. Just overall a very nice experience.

This space was exactly what we were looking for on a long weekend getaway. Incredible cute cabin vibe with all of the amenities ( more) that you could ask for. Everything is exactly as described, and the check-in/out details made everything exceptionally easy. The host is incredibly quick to respond and made us feel safe and exceptionally comfortable.

Brian was a wonderful guest, he treated our home as if it was his own and he followed all the house rules. We would recommend him to other VRBO hosts and can't wait to have him back. Tim "Lazy Gnome cottage"

The cabin was very cozy and welcoming. We loved our stay there and wished we could have stayed longer! It was very clean and had everything we needed. Also very quiet. We loved being able to enjoy the fireplace at night while reading or watching a movie on the tv.

The cabin was super cute and very nicely decorated. There was enough space for my wife and I and our two dogs. Tim the host was very responsive and helpful. The surrounding area was beautiful and the neighborhood was very quiet with friendly people. Absolutely loved this place and would definitely stay again.

This was a lovely little place that makes you feel like your a gnome in a big cabin. The cabinets and ceilings give it an optical illusion. It almost felt like the tiki house in disneyland but with gnomes. I'm tall and always end up bumping my head or slouching through the hallways but I never once had to do that at The Lazy Gnome. Even the attic has amble space to stand up and and walk around. There were alot of little touchs throughout the cabin that really made it feel magical. The beds were very comfortable, bathroom was big with loads of extra towels and blankets, the heat lamp above the shower was perfect for those cold mornings. One of the best things I loved was thier record player with 75, 35 and 45 vinyls and they had some really good collections. The fireplace was wonderful and they had a nice collection of dvds for the dvd player. This is a great place for a small family, couple or a girls/boys getaway. Kitchen had so much cookware and was fun to make new recipes, the Ableskiver was amazing, a must try if you rent here. Our host Tim was very communication and patient and we could tell they really cared and put alot of time in the property. We had a wonderful time and plan on coming back next year!

Nice cozy place

The place was just great.Centrally located to everything downtown. We enjoyed our stay very much, our dog Romeo had a good time also. Would recommend and hope to stay again.

This cabin is exceptionally clean and organized! Host very responsive. Location to town just two minutes away. The only caveat- we didn’t know the driveway was steep and rocky until we received checking in instructions. It is best to back down and then get a running start to head back up. Super tight parking at bottom if you head down. Not the best for two older ladies, but we did it. But really a great cabin. Lots of trees, birds, squirrels, rabbits. Pleasantly peaceful.
