We loved the space! Location was convenient to App State, grocery stores, and restaurants. We were in town for the Marshall versus APP State game. This cabin was clean and beautifully decorated. It was the perfect weekend for a college reunion.

Perfect get away

We loved staying here, the place was exceptionally clean, has everything you need, beautiful view and is very cozy. I highly recommend booking it for your mountain getaway!

Everything was perfect. A very comfy cozy cabin with a wonderful layout and plenty of room for my family. Very clean and well kept. We loved it. Close to stores, skiing and the Tweetsie Railroad. First night we had a few deer coming up to the porch. Was a treat for my grandchildren.

Lovely house in real quiet neighborhood way up the hill. Warm feeling inside the house with everything being in great shape.

Adorable and cozy cabin in the woods!

This cabin was perfect for our family of 4. The owners were attentive and easy to communicate with. The location is great! The kids loved the foosball table and selection of dvds.

True cabin feel

Spacious cabin in the middle of the woods but not far from stores and things to do and restaurants. Great fireplace and good internet service with Spectrum. Will definitely stay there again!

Football Weekend

What a great house! Clean and comfortable, and a great location! Communication with the owner was great as we had travel questions following Helene. This is one that I will definitely look at for future trips to Boone!!

A beautifully maintained cabin nestled in the mountains

Had a wonderful weekend at this cabin. Very comfortable and accommodating! Had no issue's with anything at all! Will definitely rent again in the near future

Beautiful, tranquil and super location!

Stayed at this cabin May 2016 for son's graduation from App State. Beautiful cabin, beautiful grounds and beautiful views. Owners were super easy to work with. The cabin looks small when you drive up, but it is so large and roomy. Nice furniture and very nice details! Wish we were still there!

Very Relaxing

My family and I had a great time at this cabin. It was very cozy and relaxing. Kids had a blast sledding in the backyard and the fire pit was awesome. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Thanks to the owners for being very responsive and answering any questions we had! The views were pretty awesome too, will definitely be back.

Excellent anything.

Mountain top cabin, next to Boone and Blowing Rock, quiet but can get a Starbucks in the morning. Can’t say anything bad.

The property is perfect !

My wife and 3 children stayed at this property over the New Year's holiday break . We had an amazing time there. The cabin is in perfect shape, has all the amenities needed and is greatly located. Close to Boone and Blowing Rock, yet secluded in the mountain, the drive to the different ski slopes and area attractions is a breeze. We were even able to watch the nearby 12 o'clock fireworks right from our windows.

We are surprised by your review as your husband text that you enjoyed your stay. You also LOST a key to our cabin and left extra trash that our cleaner had to remove. We take pride in our cabin.

Cute Cabin

This cabin is in a great location. Secluded but close to Boone. The interior is comfortable. The rear deck furniture is old and uncomfortable. The AC is programmed so it can't be set lower than 70 degrees. Would recommend this property.

Great cozy mountain cabin

Exactly what I thought it would be. Tricky mountain road. No problem in good weather. Extremely clean. Beds were very comfortable.

A beautiful place

We truly enjoyed our stay at Bill and Jennifer's house. We loved the location, secluded, up a narrow paved road, but only a few minutes away from supermarkets and places of interest, both in Boone and Blowing Rock. Surrounded by trees, quiet neighbors near by and at night, complete silence. The house is well equipped and can comfortably sleep 6-8 people. It was exactly what we were looking for. Thank you Bill and Jennifer for sharing your mountain retreat with our family.

Beautiful and peaceful

The property was spotless and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked and my kids loved the foosball table! The beds were very comfortable - we had a great stay exploring Boone because we were so comfortable. It’s just a quick drive (10-15 minute, including going slow down the mountain) into Boone. Tweetsie is just down the road as is an entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway. All in all, it’s a fantastic place to stay (especially for families) if you want peace and quiet on the mountain while still being close to conveniences.
