La nostra casa ha come tutti i comfort moderni con comodi patii all'aperto privati completamente attrezzati. (Barbecue, camino, mobili da salotto, ecc.) C'è la TV (con WiFi in modo da poter trasmettere il tuo servizio preferito con il tuo account).
E 'circondato da un giardino di cactus che comprende una varietà di piante del deserto locali e arte e manufatti in metallo che gli ospiti possono godere. La nostra casa è nella città di 29 palme. È vicino e molto comodo per cenare, fare shopping e le meraviglie naturali che circondano la nostra città. Le deliziose città di Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley e Palm Springs si trovano a breve distanza. Il parco nazionale di Joshua Tree è a pochi minuti. Escursionismo, ciclismo, arrampicata su roccia nel parco è famosa nel mondo. After a long hiatus from Joshua Tree, I looked through the VRBO listings and this one stood out.First, for the EV charger. This would be my first road trip with my EV, and it helped immensely to have that range security. BTW I stopped at a Tesla charging station but my adapter didn't fit. I thought it would be a disaster if the charger at the house wouldn't work.Then, I rolled up on Cactus Adobe and . . . deja vu. I'd stayed in this very house years ago - pre-pandemic? - and loved it for its book-filled shelves, whimsical art and huge quiet backyard. And location so close to JT and every good restaurant and store in Twentynine Palms.Then - the charger slipped in like it was meant to be, and I started out every morning with another 300 mile, 100% charge.It's a place for meditation and renewal, and boy did I have a lot of that to do. Cactus Adobe is as spiritual in that way as the more pretentious places around Joshua Tree. Loved it, love it, and hopefully soon will love it again.

Funky and fun house close to Joshua Tree National Park

This is a cute and unique little house, very comfortable and convenient to Joshua Tree National Park (especially the north entrance). It was a great homebase for our hiking trip to the area. Would recommend!

Cute and Unique place near the National Park

My boys and I loved staying here. It was just the right size for the three of us. The house was so unique and charming and had everything we needed and more! It was the perfect location for us to go in and out of Joshua Tree National Park. We would definitely stay here again!

Cozy place -- works well for an individual or small group

Small but comfortable place with a convenient location. Would stay at again. It would benefit from a few updates -- particularly a shower curtain and a gas stove from a recent decade.

Comfort with personality

Our family of four stayed here and it was fantastic! Cozy, little house with lots of personality! The owners checked on us, too, and made us feel right at home. Perfect location as well. We would definitely stay again!

Awesome, clean, artistic, comfy house from which to explore Joshua Tree.

Perfect intimate desert experience

My best friend and I spent 2 days visiting Joshua Tree National Park and enjoying The Tile House. It was very well equipped, homey and artistic. We were very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the grounds and the house for interesting displays of art!

Artistic Oasis at 29 Palms

Great location for trips into Joshua Tree National Park

Unique property. Well cared for and adequately equipped and clean. Decor is delightful. Yards are not only have abundant wildlife-rabbits, quails, lizards but also “ outdoor art”. Enjoyed our stay!!!

Authentic charm for JTNP

A bit like going back in time (in a good way), this charming house is appointed with a hundred small details to appreciate. Perfect access to the wonderful Joshua Tree area, and the host could not be more responsive.

A well-equipped, cozy desert home with a spacious, outdoor space as well. Excellent, responsive communication with property manager. Could use another heat source for bedrooms, but it was manageable. Would definitely stay here in the future. Good value for the $$$.

Beautiful desert getaway home

When my husband and I were looking for options to stay in, he really liked this one due to it's proximity to the park. I wasn't completely sold but I think it's because the pictures don't do this place justice. The yard was a lot bigger than I thought and the house itself was very cozy. Loved staying here with all the cool relics and signage around the yard. Even greater was all the wildlife that would pop in.

Small house with large backyard ideally located close to Joshua Tree NP

Ideally located in a quiet neighborhood, a mere 5 min drive for the Joshua Tree Visitor Center and from supermarkets and restaurants. Place looks bigger than the pictures with a large dinner table in the living room and a large backyard with patio. Idea for a family with two kids. Owner was responsive and friendly. Very well organized check in and check out.

Convenient comfortable and charming. A home with real character

Everything worked well and the home was well equipped including a full set of kitchen implements. Lots of pots and pans dishes etc and a cute second dining table with big windows that we really liked. The bathroom is a bit cramped but colorful and functional. The patio is another nice feature

The property was exactly the way it was described. Small for 6 people but comfortable.

It is comfortable for 6 people ( sleeps 6) only if used for sleeping at night. Well stocked. The yard and neighborhood looks unkempt with lots of stuff everywhere but some people may see it as art. The house itself was very clean and well kept. Owner friendly and helpful.

Perfect for us

We enjoyed this casita very much. It was cozy and comfortable. The furnishings were eclectic and well chosen. An artist loves this home. The back yard was private and lovely to hang out in. The bathroom and kitchen had amazing tile work. We were within a few minutes of all stores and services as well as close to Joshua Tree park. The owner called twice to insure that all was well. We would definitely stay there again.

Fun and comfortable

My teenage daughter and I enjoyed our too brief stay. House was charming, with eclectic fun design inside and out. Plenty of space in bedrooms and living room. Great outdoor area. All very well kept, with love. Bathroom is one of the most charming spaces in the house, but the shower is small. Worked well for us, but folks taller than 6ft or bigger than 200lbs should be aware. Best restaurant options in the town of Joshua Tree, about 15 minutes away.

I was born and raised in Twentynine Palms and spent my early school years at Blessed Sacrament Grade school. My earliest memories are of the incredible experiences ,Playing hiking and camping around one of the most beautiful playgrounds in the world. I went to New York City when my father was transferred there and spent many years developing my career and life there. 2 years ago I took my wife to the High Desert and to my surprise she loved it.( She is a real City girl) We immediately saw that 29 needed new pioneers to settle there.

When we found Cactus Abobe it was in very rough shape but when we saw the original tile work done by the homesteader who built it and the obvious love that he put into it we knew it must be saved. All the original details remain but the electricity has been totally redone and, interior and exterior surfaces have been restored. Since there was very little wood on the desert in 1933 The owner followed the early Spanish practice of creating a cactus fence which you can see today.The Garden was started by his daughter and there are many types of cacti which she nurtured. There are Joshua trees which she planted on the property that are quite rare in 29 Palms. We love this place we hope you will also.

The biggest benefit is the ease of travel and closeness to the national park whose Main Entrance and headquarters are located on Utah Trail just a few minutes from our house. There are many things to see and do just a short drive away . Route 66 and the Mojave Wilderness are close by.The Gold Mining Dale district is just outside of town. Wonder Valley offers a unique look at early pioneer homestead buildings from the early 1900's. Visit one of the last outdoor drive in theaters in the US at Smiths Ranch Drive In located a few minutes away on Adobe Road. 29 Palms is centraly located and day trips can easily be made to Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley. Just a few miles away is Yucca valley and Pioneer Town with their music scene and antique shops. The village of Joshua tree is a few miles away and has some good bars ( with music)and restaurants. The Noah Purifoy museum is a must see artist vision of the desert exoerience. There is much more to see and do and you will have an interesting experience no matter what road you take
