Il livello principale ha un ampio soggiorno aperto con cattedrale alta, soffitto con travi a vista, un bellissimo camino in pietra a legna (fornita legna limitata), TV satellitare ad alta definizione da 36 pollici con lettore DVD, un grande ponte coperto con un griglia a gas su cui riposare e ammirare lo splendido scenario montano ascoltando i suoni del torrente, una cucina completamente attrezzata con ripiani in granito, una zona pranzo, un bagno completo, una camera da letto con letto matrimoniale e TV HD satellitare, e una camera da letto con due letti a castello.

Al piano superiore si trova una zona soppalcata che può essere utilizzata come sala studio o lettura e un'ampia suite principale con letto king size, TV HD satellitare e bagno privato completo con vasca idromassaggio angolare.

Al piano inferiore si trova una grande tana con camino in pietra a gas, una master suite con letto king size, TV HD da 36 pollici e bagno privato completo, e un ponte inferiore con vasca idromassaggio per 6 persone per sedersi o immergersi e rilassarsi mentre si prende in le visualizzazioni.

Great house for families

Great location to get to any attractions but away enough from the hustle to enjoy some quiet. Room for kiddos to stretch and run. Beautiful house and well appointed. Blue Ridge rental company manages this home, I highly recommend their costumer service rep, Amy. She responded and acted quickly for any communication and needs.

Wonderful mountain getaway

Great house! Clean, well maintained, well stocked. Location is perfect. Close to everything you need but still feels secluded in the mountains. The only con is whoever sleeps in the bedroom downstairs, you can hear everything above (footsteps, laundry going, etc.). Otherwise that room is very comfortable! I would definitely recommend this house and can see going back in the future.

Mountain Family Weekend

Wonderful house with a well stocked kitchen for cooking.The large dining table was a tremendous decision point for choosing this house. Bed and bath for each family was a plus. The extra loft area for children's activities was a comfortable and fun atmosphere. This house is in close proximity to various attractions. Blue Ridge properties was eager to answer questions and solve any. issues that arose.

Loved the cabin. Truly beautiful and was perfect once we got there .

Unfortunately the bridge was being worked on getting to the property and the detour was very difficult for our large truck. We had a hard time getting around the curves , actually having to keep backing up a few times to make corner. After reaching the cabin we found it very nice! Entrance was welcoming and we used the hot tub and the fire pit in the woods! Loved the rocking chairs on the side porch to enjoy the view. Cabin was maintained nice and had large rooms to hold our party. Overall we had a great time !

Excellent getaway

My family of 4 stayed with another family of 4 for 3 nights at this cabin. The cabin was perfect. It was equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was great and I was especially shocked and delighted to see some kid's DVDs, games and toys on the property. The location is about 18 mins from Tweetsie Railroad and was convenient for trips there and to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The only negatives (which were not deal-breakers by any means) were the gravel driveway leading down to the property and the dishwasher door was functional but broken which made the dishwasher hard to load. I would recommend this property and we'd stay here again!

Boone trip

Overall we had a fantastic stay at the little creek lodge. We had a couple of questions before checkout and the staff answered them quickly and were extremely friendly while doing so. The only issue we had was with the grill. It was very unstable- when we opened it, the top was not connected very well. It almost fell off and would have caused a pretty big accident as it was very hot at that point. Other than the grill- this place is great and the location is very convenient.

Short but sweet

We really liked the house. It was cozy. Rock road coming in was pretty bumpy. House overall was in a great location. Centrally located near everything. My cons were that there is mold on the downstairs shower curtain. Also the paint had come off the outside stairs so anytime some walked downstairs to go to the hot tub bare foot, they’d get splinters. This happened several times. Overall would recommend the house. Enjoyed our stay.

Great property, however, it was supposed have internet but it didn’t work..

The property is nice. Had what we needed and the management company was very responsive and friendly. Challenge was with not having internet. The description said there was internet service, but they were not able to get it to work. Unfortunately, I needed to get online to work while we were visiting so I had to leave the cabin each day to seek service. Do not count on internet being available. If this is not a requirement, this is a great place to stay.

Overall great

Location was perfect! Hidden away but not too far off that a run to the store is an inconvenience. My two complaints are the beds are uncomfortable, down stairs bed was very hard, main level and upper level beds sagged in the middle. And the house needs a deep dusting, behind the couch, above the cabinets. So if you are sensitive to dust I'd make sure you bring some allergy meds! The set up of the house is great for big groups/ multiple families. The main living room could use another/bigger couch as only 5 people could sit out there at a time. But overall we had a great week and would come back!

Peaceful Setting

Overall, we had a great stay at the Little Creek Lodge. We enjoyed the peace and quiet that this cabin offered, you really feel like you've escaped into the valley. It had so many things that made this cabin kid friendly for all ages. One thing that could improve the experience was the downstairs basement isn't heated that well. A heater was provided but it was hard to regulate the temperature. One other thing was that noise carries throughout the house, almost like there isn't enough insulation. For example, you can hear people talking/walking/spoon dropping on the main level if you are staying downstairs in the basement or if you are staying upstairs in the master. However, I would certainly stay in the house again because it had all the things we needed for our stay and was a nice relaxing vacation.

Poor communication and response from property management

The cabin was nice and big, but as soon as we got there we noted several damages, including the light in the bunkbed room was damaged, fire detector was disconnected and pulled down from the roof, and a window screen was pushed out. Also the trash from the precious renters was still there. Specifically both outside trash bins were full and there was several bags and boxes outside on the driveway. This was all reported immediately, no one came out to fix anything and the trash was never removed during our 7 day stay. So we had no where to put our trash and just had to pile it in the kitchen the entire trip. Animals got into the nonsecure trash that had been left outside and spread it around the driveway. We called again half way through the trip and were told it would be taken care of but it was all still there when we left. A frustrating part of an otherwise wonderful trip.

The Vila area was absolutely gorgeous. We brought our pup and were safely able to secure him on the mid-level porch with a baby gate when we were outside. The home was quite roomy. On the flip side, many windows did not have screens which was annoying. I would suggest your better explain the sleeping lay out: king size with full bath on on lower level, queen bed and 2 bunk beds on main level with shared bath, and a king bed with full bath on top level. In addition the lower level is very cold while the upper level is very warm and the only controls for heat/AC are in the main level. In addition two chairs on the main level smelled very smoky and need to be cleaned. We also woke up our first AM to the smell of gas on the lower level and no one had turned it on. The outsourced customer service rep was not helpful. Fortunately my son is a Fire Investigator and figured out how to turn it off. Price was decent for the money and it was very close to Boone. Thank you for a nice vacation.

College Graduation

I rented this cabin as our grandson was graduating from App State in Boone. We needed a place for all our family to stay and one that would allow pets. This cabin was no let down! It was gorgeous we had plenty of room to move about and beds for everyone. The place was very clean and the wrap around porch was very enjoyable!! The only negative thing I can say is you only get one towel & washcloth per guest so you may want to bring extras. They do furnish washer & dryers which helps. Would definitely stay here again!

Little Creek Lodge

My family of 6 adults and 3 children just spent the week of Christmas at Little Creek. We had the most wonderful time there! The cabin seems larger than the online pics. We felt the cabin was very clean (other than some stains on the down stains carpet with no odor) The cabin smells very clean and has a nice wood burning fireplace smell to it, not strong at all, just very pleasant. We LOVED using the fireplace at nighttime, used it 3 nights. Wish we would have bought more wood. There are lots of places to buy it close by. Linens are nice. The upstairs beds are very comfortable, down stairs is a king suite, but I will say the bed is very firm, luckily I brought a thick duvet with us so we used that as a mattress topper. The 3rd level master suite is amazing. Kids loved the bunk room. Great location less than 5 min from Ingles grocery store. Cabin is very close to Valle Crusis, Boone and Blowing Rock. We were able to go to Hawksnest for tubing and Appalachian Ski Mountian for amazing time ice skating on Christmas Day! Magical time for the kids (they live in Florida.) We did have a small glitch getting into the cabin when we arrived, code was incorrect. Rental agency sent a new code and we were inside in less than 10 minutes,. Once off the main road the roads are curvy and steep( as expected in the mountains), nothing crazy and we didn’t have any problems (Subaru and Ford truck) driveway to the house can park multiple cars and is not steeply inclined. Once you get to the house the first time it was a breeze. I would think if there was snow and ice you would definitely need an all wheel / 4 wheel drive vehicle though. We would definitely return and stay in this cabin again.

Wonderful Experience

This house was great! My kids (3 & 4) did not want to ever leave the "mountain house". The house was very clean and had everything we needed! When we return we plan on staying here again! :)
