This home was perfect for our family of 10 (including a toddler). It was incredibly well-equipped with EVERYTHING we could possibly need. The walk to the beach was easy and the views from the deck were beautiful. Brian was a fantastic host. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property without hesitation!

Our stay was great. The listing was very accurate. The location was clean, everything well maintained, and well stocked. Brian was very easy to deal with and available to help with anything we needed. The location was very convenient to the beach and we had a wonderful stay.

Brian was great, the house literally had everything you needed from linens, beach towels, everything in the kitchen, laundry detergent, wagon and coolers for the beach and I’m sure I’m forgetting to list something but you literally don’t need to worry about anything. The only thing I brought from home was an electric skillet to make morning pancakes. The house was very clean

This property was exactly as it was pictured! We had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was stocked. I cooked and baked, and had everything I needed. The walk to the beach was approved by a five year old and a two year old! It was so simple! Brian has thought of everything, including beach chairs and a wagon for your walk to the beach. We also loved the views! Brian was available when needed and exceptionally helpful!

The home was perfect for our stay. Roomy, comfortable and conveniently located to the beach, restaurants, etc. If you are an angler, the community pier is a treasure trove not to be missed! Brian was a great host, thank you sir!

The name of the house says it all!

Brian was so great to work with and very responsive to all questions we had - both before and during our stay. The home had everything we could possibly need for a week at the beach which made the packing process so much easier! The location is gorgeous with the bay behind the property and the beach in front. Our girls (teens) could have independence because the beach, pool and bay were all so close. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Brian, for a great week!

Great beach home and location!

We had a great stay at Topsail and Brian was an amazing host! The home was very clean and well-stocked with all amenities you can think of! Very comfortable beds and nice living space inside and on the outside decks! A very short walk to beach and community pool is not crowded! We’ve stayed at numerous beach rentals and this one was the best by far! One clue was me not contacting the owner or real estate company by Day 2 to request maintenance! ….Highly recommend!!!

Coastal Cay!!

Had a wonderful week! The house was perfect....all we needed to do was unpack clothes/groceries and start enjoying the beach! Brian even dropped off bags of ice because the ice maker wasn't working. I could write a novel about everything we loved from the beds to the Shubumi!!! Highly recommend!

Incredible Stay at "THE Perfect Home Away From Home"

Property is as advertised. Loaded with all the essentials for a week at the beach. Just as it says in the description, we could have literally packed nothing but our clothes. Easily accomodated our party of 10. House was super clean and was in a great location to enjoy the beautiful Surf City Beach on Topsail Island. Had the privilege of meeting the owner who lives nearby. Super nice guy and very accomodating. I've stayed in a lot of rental properties at a lot of beaches over the years and this was by far my favorite.

This house has everything that you could possibly need. We just finished our stay and would definitely stay again. Everything was clean, stocked, and comfortable. Brian went above and beyond for us. He is an amazing human being. The only thing you need to pack is your clothes. The kitchen is even stocked with spices! The beach is a quick walk and there is a wagon to put all of your things in. There are two Shibumi shades which are really incredible; we had never used them before but they are really easy to put up and take down. If you are looking for an amazing place to stay, this is it!

Everything You Need!

Upon arrival the house was in wonderful condition and very clean! Brian reached out before check in time to let us know the house was ready early. There were plenty of beach supplies at the house including chairs, towels, some toys, a shibumi shade and a cart as well as an abundance of different sized coolers. Brian checked in multiple times during the week to make sure all was well. I would definitely book this house again for a future trip.

Amazing home and location!! 5 Stars⭐️

Brian has thought of everything! You could literally show up with your suitcase and nothing else. He has a beach cart, coolers, umbrellas, boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, even beach towels! We loved the views of both the ocean and the marsh. The pool was great for cooling off. The walk to the beach was maybe 3 minutes and easy to access. The only downside was crossing the busy street. Brian is a great host. We would definitely rent this house again if we return.

Spectacular summer vacation spot

This was our family's first experience at surf city. To say home away from home was an understatement. Lovely home, decorated beautifully, everything you need was in place. You were in need of nothing. It looks just as it was on the website. The walk to the beach was very doable. Brian was available during our stay and checked with us throughout the week to see if we were enjoying our stay. Our family was so taken with our vacation experience we contacted Brian before we left to book our 2025 stay. Already looking forward to next summer. A must stay place.

Annual Beach Vacation

Our family would definitely give this more than 5 stars if we could. The best rental experience we have ever had. After allowing us time to get in and settled, Brian was sure to check on us to confirm we had everything we needed. And let me tell you, there was not a single thing we needed. Linens, towels, toilet paper, hand soaps, dish soap, laundry soap, phone chargers & sound machines in EVERY.SINGLE.BEDROOM. All the kitchen appliances and dishes/cookware you could possibly need. Coolers, beach chairs, wagon & shibumis. The house is exactly how the pictures show. Comfy beds and pillows. The living room area was a very gracious size for our 2 families of 9. We never felt crowded. Sad to leave, but we will be back for sure. Thank you for hosting us!!

Summer Vacation

This is the second year that we stayed at the property. The house is as advertised. It is the perfect beach home away from home. Nine of us stayed this year. 10 of us stayed last year. The house is very clean, super comfortable, and easily accommodated our party. It has everything you need for your beach trip. Last year, to be on the safe side, we packed all our beach gear even though the description said all you needed to bring was your clothes. This year, that's literally what we did. Owners a great guy and super attentive. Last year, I screwed up the rating with less than five stars in one of the categories. I tried to get VRBO to take it down but they never would. It definitely deserves five stars in all the categories. Highly recommend the property.

Beautiful Property for a Fun Getaway

This was the nicest property we have ever rented - everything you could possibly need had been thought of, with high quality, beautiful decor. Beds and seating were very comfortable and it was perfect for a couple of families with kids or a group of adults. Spacious and light, and close proximity to beach access. There is also a pool on the property that looked very nice for renters in warmer months, and access to a pier overlooking the beautiful sound. The condo is right off the main north/south road on Topsail Island so there is some traffic noise and you need to cross the road to get to the beach. We didn't notice the traffic while sleeping but there were white noise machines provided for light sleepers. Brian, our host, was very responsive and helpful. We had one question about the washer/dryer, and he quickly solved it for us. Would definitely recommend this beautiful property, and we hope to come back again!

Everything you need in the vacation rental x10!

This is honestly the nicest rental that I’ve ever stayed in in topsail or really anywhere for that matter! All the furnishings are high end, plenty of towels in the house, towels for the beach and also towels by the outdoor shower. The beds are so comfortable and the linens are very nice quality. I was shocked to find there was already hand soap, bath soap, shampoo and conditioner, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap dish washing detergent and a corner cabinet filled with numerous spices etc. I was also amazed to open the freezer and find ice cold glasses for my beer and whiskey stones! There truly is something for every need. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. There are extra coolers for your use, travel mugs for the beach, some umbrellas, beach chairs, and beach toys. Brian is a dream to work with ! The house is spacious and we had a wonderful time. The only thing for me was that everybody’s idea of a short walk is different. My mom just had knee replacement surgery so I was hoping we just had to cross the street. However it was about a block down. Really not a big deal except for my mom especially because the house is absolutely the best on the island!

This property has EVERYTHING you could possibly need or want for your beach stay!Great comfy beds, quality linens and towels. A fully equipped kitchen including all supplies like trash bags, saran, foil etc, food storage containers, a large beverage fridge, soaps and cleaning products. Beach chairs, shibumis (2), umbrellas, kids toys and a wagon for hauling it all the short walk to the beach. Lots of outdoor decks for sitting outside and also a view of the ocean.The location is close to Surf City and a short walk to the beach entrance. The condo complex has a nice clean pool and a bay side boardwalk for sunsets and fishing.The owner lives nearby and checked in with us to make sure all was well.The weather was HOT when we were there but we stayed cool in the ocean, the pool, or in the air conditioning. Washer and Dryer and all appliances worked great.
