Thank you Michael, we are so glad you found your stay to be just as we said and we would love to have you and your fisherman buddies back anytime. You and your group were very respectful of our property and it is much appreciated.

Our beds are a little higher because that is the style we have in our own home and we feel it is more attractive than beds sitting almost on the floor which can also be hard to get in and out of. Just a personal preference I guess. We do ask for a few things to be done before departure due to the size of the home. With 6 bedrooms and check out at 11:00 and check in at 3:00 we feel those few things are minimal. We try to give our guest a little more time by not having a 4:00 check in and 9 or 10am check out. Our housekeeper request a tip but it isn’t mandatory. As you said the home is very clean and she works hard trying to get all the laundry done, moping, dusting, cleaning stove, fridge, etc. so it is a lot of work in a short time. Also it isn’t a group of cleaners only one person. I am sorry you disagree with her request for a tip. Yes I agree the lock is a little hard. We had recently replaced it we may have to look at a different one once again. We are glad however you enjoyed the space the home offered and generally enjoyed your stay. We do appreciate your remarks and sometimes make changes as a result as constructive criticism which can be helpful. Thank you for choosing our home and would have loved to have had the 5 star review we strive for, however we do realize it is impossible to please everyone. KInd regards

Thank you for the review. We take all reviews very seriously, good and bad. We updated the bedroom configuration at the bunk house creating a larger bedroom. We did go in and update most of our sites. We will check to make sure the most recent accommodations are listed. We are sorry you didn't get to see the cows. We don't have horses on Gilreath Farms. We have a large heard of Red Angus, Highland cattle and Mini Highlands (so cute). Unfortunately, at the time of your visit they had been rotated to their winter pasture on the other side of the farm. If we had known you wanted to see them we would have given you a tour. Especially the mini's. Hopefully you will elect to stay with us again so we can see our cattle.
