Benvenuti in paradiso! La nostra casa di 3 piani ha 6 camere da letto e 6 bagni completi, 16 posti letto. C'è una piscina privata (acqua salata), vasca idromassaggio, bagno turco, doccia esterna e golf cart. Ci sono due cucine, tre camere matrimoniali con letti king e bagni completi collegati. Due camere da letto aggiuntive, 1 letto king size e 1 letto matrimoniale e la sesta camera da letto ha due letti a castello. Inoltre, c'è un divano letto con un rotelle e un letto pieghevole. Ci sono quattro ponti che percorrono la lunghezza della casa con sedie a dondolo .; due dei ponti si affacciano sulla piscina. La sala giochi ha calcio balilla, un tavolo shuffleboard e un flipper Captain Fantastic. Ci sono 7 grandi TV a schermo piatto con cavo e internet ad alta velocità. Oak Island ha una spiaggia esposta a sud con bellissima alba e tramonti. È possibile raggiungere a piedi la spiaggia, prendere il golf cart o guidare in quanto vi è un ampio parcheggio pubblico gratuito. Oak Island, NC è un tesoro con pesca, canoa, kayak, golf, tennis, mini golf, banchine pubbliche, parco giochi e molti altri servizi.

The house its self was beautiful! Very accommodating, had everything we needed kitchen wise, bedroom and bathroom. There was a fire stick in every room, plenty of toilet paper provided. The steam room, outside shower, hot tub and pool were such a great advantage for the time of year we went. There was some issues with the golf cart but the host handled it well. The location from the beach was a bit farther than we thought. It probably wouldn’t be bad if it were only adults, but having babies from 7 month - 1 year - 4 year olds made it challenging with beach equipment time frames etc. the large dinning room table was such a nice part too, game nights and family dinner was so achievable and a great part of our trip. As well as the balcony furniture and time spent there as well.

Our family had a great time here. Everyone said it was a great place, great location. We were pleased with having our own onsite pool and hot tub.
My hubby and I being nostalgic in the pool remembering our 8th grade year.

Larry and Rose are amazing hosts. This property isn’t walking distance to the beach, but it has a lot of room and a pool which was perfect for us. This was the easiest check in and check out experience I’ve ever had.

Great location for large family

Have always loved Oak Island. Found this Home on VRBO and it fit our large family needs perfectly. Plenty of space. Loved how the house provided natural shading over the pool in the afternoon for comfortable swimming. Very clean

Nice place for a group

Inside well kept, golf cart was great, outside could be a bit more taken care of lots of weeds and leaves. The pool was great and handy on hot days which we had a week full. We had a great time, come and stay.

Great property for our family! Pool was perfect after a hot day at the beach. Loved having the golf cart for trips back and forth to the beach. Property was spacious and plenty of bathrooms. Owner was fantastic! Great communication!

Excellent hosts

Larry and Rose were great hosts. The property had everything we needed for 4 families with a total of 16 people. House was clean and check in was easy. Pool, hottub, golf cart, and game room provided plenty of entertainment. Will book with them again

Nice large house

We enjoyed the large house, but it definitely needs some upgrades! The hot tub really needs to be replaced, someone had set it at 107 degrees, luckily I own one and got it to a proper temperature! The house was ok for cleanliness but we found the oven with dirty foil and the basement apartment not to clean! The pool guy stopped and was very nice and offered to come back later!

2024 Family Vacation

The house was not within close proximity to the beach plus there was no beach equipment eg. chairs, umbrellas or coolers. The hot tub needs to be replaced as well as many of the major appliances eg. stove, refrigerator (we never had enough ice for drinks etc.) the house was loaded with cockroaches and the flies were terrible. They were at the pool and in the house , very annoying. Would not rent again!

Perfect for extended family stay

The house suited our needs perfectly with (in additon to 2 additional bedrooms) THREE on suite master bedrooms AND a private apartment. The pool was the icing on the cake. Our hosts were lovely and accessible. Highly recommend.

June stay at Wine & Roses

My extended family and I had a great time staying at this house. Exactly like the pictures. The heated pool was a favorite. The short drive to the beach was not bad. Plenty of parking. Larry was very responsive to messages.

Rose and I have been coming to Oak Island since 2003; moving here permanently in 2019. Wine & Roses is our third home. Check out our other two homes (Rhapsody in Blue and Sand Castle). We have a large family and love providing vacation homes to bring families together.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

After vacationing for many years up and down the Atlantic Coast we have discovered Oak Island is the perfect beach for us. It is a quiet family beach with a south facing ocean. The beach is just a short walk away and if we choose to drive, there is always parking right at the beach (often a big problem for many other beaches). After a few hours at the beach we love to come back and relax at the pool. There are lots of reasons we love this house as a big family gathering. It's not just the six large bedrooms with six full bathrooms. Families can gather together in the large dining/living room area. They can also spread out when everyone needs a little breathing room. Consider the 4 large outdoor covered decks, a covered car port as well as pool area. We took the seventh bedroom and turned it into a game room. There are two separate kitchen areas, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. Try our role playing kits including murder mysteries for the adult group and crime solving mysteries for the younger crowd.

Our home features four different decks, a game room, covered parking area, Indoor/outdoor stereo, steam room, hot tub, pool, and a large outdoor shower area. A large group can be together but still afford privacy when needed.
While Oak Island is a quiet family beach with fishing piers and outdoor recreational activities, there is also a diverse slate of activities to enjoy nearby. Visit the neighboring seaside town of Southport where many movies were filmed including Firestarter, Weekend at Bernie's, A Walk to Remember, Crimes of the Heart and Many others.Take the ferry to see the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher. See the Battleship North Carolina, Myrtle Beach attractions, Winery Tours. Ocean Going Casino trips, Helicopter rides, Skydiving are all well within reach. It goes without saying there is seemingly limitless opportunity for great golfing as well.
