A sole 2 ore e mezza da Portland, Black Butte Ranch è una delle fughe occidentali più antiche e desiderabili dell'Oregon nel nord-ovest del Pacifico. I primi fondatori del ranch di 1800 acri hanno assicurato che le generazioni future potranno godere di questa spettacolare natura selvaggia protetta. Questo è il tipo di luogo in cui sono fatte le tradizioni familiari.

La nostra casa si trova vicino al cancello ovest con un facile giro in bicicletta per la piscina lodge recentemente rinnovata e il Lakeside Bistro. La piscina e le sorgenti Paulina sono a pochi passi di distanza.

Splendidamente aggiornato, il layout di questa casa è l'ideale per due famiglie di venire a condividere il ranch insieme. Tutte e 4 le camere sono sullo stesso piano con 2 suite matrimoniali. La 3a camera da letto include un letto matrimoniale. La 4a camera da letto comprende 2 letti a castello singoli.

La zona giorno principale presenta un open space con una splendida cucina del cuoco recentemente rinnovata e un camino a legna nel soggiorno adiacente. C'è un ponte privato con barbecue per alcuni spazi di vita all'aperto. La sala da pranzo ha un'anta aggiuntiva per fare spazio a 10 persone.

Per l'intrattenimento, il soggiorno ha una TV via cavo e Wifi gratuito. Giochi da tavolo e carte sono disponibili per un po 'di divertimento in famiglia.

Black Butte Ranch è una fuga tentacolare per famiglie nel cuore dell'Oregon centrale. The worst location I have ever stayed in.The apartment is tiny, like really tiny. After putting our bags down, there was barely enough room to stand. There is also no seating other than the bed. Walking into the room gives an immediate damp smell, and mold can be seen around the air vent. The location is terrible. The apartment sits meters away from a very busy street and there is no soundproofing. You hear every single car as if you were right next to it at all hours of the night. Being next to a police station also means constant sirens and yelling at all hours.The bed is the worse part. We arrived to dirty sheets with stains and the previous guests hairs all over. Taking off the sheets showed the worst mattress I have ever seen, with all manor of bodily fluid stains. These stains are all over the pillows. The bed frame is not screwed together, the metal has just been placed, so it was constantly falling apart and moving the mattress. I left this apartment with 6 insect bites, more than I have ever gotten in such a short duration.The shower head is broken and shoots water out at every angle, good luck having a relaxing shower.Overall, do not stay at this apartment, it will ruin your holiday. I am shocked that they were comfortable even advertising this location and allowing people to stay. I feel completely ripped off that I had to pay any amount of money for this and will be seeking some sort of refund.

Beautiful Resort Perfect Home

Black Butte Ranch is a fabulous resort area with biking, hiking, golf, swimming, tennis, Pickleball, and more. The home we stayed in has great furnishings and a lovely patio. The kitchen has everything we needed. The home is spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our family group of 8. We highly recommend this experience!

There is a place....Black Butte Ranch

My family and I have been coming to Black Butte for over 30 years. It is a magical place. This home needs some serious attention. I found the home dirty, and metal furniture came out of the corners, which caused a scratch on one of my grandchildren. The property managers responded to us in a timely manner, but overall, I would advise guests to inquire if they have addressed issues with their cleaners or furniture that needs replacing.

Inaccurate Description

We were very disappointed that the house didn’t live up to the description in the listing and we were dismayed to find several items of neglected maintenance. The overall presentation was quite unsatisfactory.

Clean and comfortable home with plenty of space. Easy to access Lakeside pools and Glaze Meadow recreation center wasn't hard to get to with a vigorous bike ride. I'd stay here again, thanks!

Wonderful (and very hot!) week

The house is great in a nice location with a nice layout and well-equipped garage. We would have loved if the house had A/C since the temps reached 106°! That is not normal so any other week, it wouldn't have mattered as much.

Ski trip

Had a great stay at the house! Very comfortable and clean. Plenty of room for two families with kids. Easy access to the side exit of black butte ranch. Will definitely be back!

Great House

The house was perfect for our family of 8. Bedrooms were closed off from the rest of the house so it was easy for the adults to stay up later than the kids when it was bedtime. House was clean and well stocked.

Wonderful & fully stocked house

Our whole family stayed at the property (1yr old to our 88yr old grandma thanks to this being single level property). It was a wonderful experience. The place is beautiful, well equipped and stocked. The location is magical. The communication with owners and property manager was a breeze. The beds were super comfortable, the layout is great with rooms separate from living space, the heater held up great during cold nights, but if it doesn't the fireplace with the insert provides an immense amount if heat. A few notes if you haven't been to BBR: make sure to punch in Black Butte Ranch (not property address) into your maps to enter from the side with the welcome center. Also, all garbage needs to be taken to the refuse center which is a short drive away, there's is no garbage bin on property. We would definitely stay here again in the future

Good house for extended family

The house had a great set up for our group- 3 couples, 4 kids. Comfortable beds, good appliances. Well equipped kitchen and the extra fridge in the garage was a bonus. It’s a little far from the pools, but the bike path is close by. Would come again!

Good Layout Great Location

This house comfortable fit 6 adults and 3 children under 8. The location was very close to main lodge, Paulina Pool, and Big Meadow Gate. The house was a good layout with an open kitchen/living/dining room. Owners were easy to work with and many extras (bikes, tennis, sports equipment) were provided.

Wonderful family-friendly home on quiet dead-end street

This is a fantastic home for families and can easily accommodate two families. Sitting on a quiet dead-end street, the kids were very safe riding bikes in front of the home. A short walk across the golf course to the serene Paulina Springs and quiet Paulina pool, we loved this location! The home was clean and well-appointed. I slept great in one of the two king beds with a memory foam topper. We were concerned about not having A/C because it was a very warm week, but we ran fans at night with windows open and closed the windows in the morning to keep the cool air in and we were very comfortable. Thank you for having us - we hope to come back!

Stormy days in Black Butte

Great property. We got dished up some bad weather for our weekend, but the house held up GREAT! Solid home in the Butte. My only recommendation would be to get an electrician to consolidate all the kitchen switches! Nice to see a gas stove top in a rental property. We don't know how to cook on electric.

Houses layout was ideal. Kitchen was well equipped. Close to walking paths, sledding hill, as well as downhill skiing . Ryan and Molly quickly responded to any questions we might have. We plan to return in the future.

This is our only vacation rental and is also our vacation home. We can't use it all of the time (as much as we would wish!) and choose to share it with others who want to enjoy Black Butte Ranch in an updated and charming home. We live in the Portland area and have 3 kids that also love their time here.
