This was our second year staying at this property. With four senior golfers, the four bedroom property fit our needs exactly. The location was perfect for our northern golf tour and Petoskey and restaurant choices were less than 15 minutes away. The house was great and communication with the host was easy.

This is a really nice property! We had 5 adults staying (2-couples) and really appreciated having 2 king beds and 2 queen beds. We also used the fire pit in the backyard on two of the nights - which was also a nice experience. The property is very conveniently located near Petoskey as that was our primary destination for one of the days we were there. It really is a great place and location with Petoskey to the north and Boyne to the south and directly across the street from Walloon Lake!

Very clean with everything we needed! Very close to the nice little village and easy boat launch nearby. We would definitely visit again.

Relaxing Week

We enjoyed our stay. Took some great walks along the lake on the lakeside path to both town and up the hills. Golfed, kayaked, hiked, biked, had great food and enjoyed lake views on road trips. Only 9 miles to Petoskey, 6 to Boyne City, and 20ish to Charlevoix. Great week! Also hit a few wineries and brew pubs within 30 minutes of the rental.

Great weekend getaway

This home was well maintained and had everything we needed for a relaxing family fun weekend! Walloon Lake is a charming little community with beautiful lake views. Enjoyed the day at the Skybridge and an evening of cards and great company! Would recommend staying here!

Girls weekend for 4, 4 bedrooms perfect fit!

Just what we needed for 4 gals to enjoy the Boyne Mountain Skybridge and snow tubing and time together.

We came to relax and visit as friends and that is what we did. We had a few lovely fires in the yard, coffee/lunch/dinner on the deck. We enjoyed the private back yard area so much we played cards outside. This home is close to the lake and a beautiful waterfront walk along beautiful gardened and decorated lake front homes of the past. We Enjoyed our walks. Close to many things. A Smaller home but would fit a family of 5-6 easy for a visit of the area. Has 4 bedrooms. The beds were comfortable and the home had everything we needed. Yes I would return.

Clean, Comfortable and Great Location

Overall, enjoyed our stay and this was a great location for skiing: within approximately 30 minutes from The Highlands & Nubs and less than 15 minutes from Boyne. Four bedrooms with 2 king beds is a major plus and generally hard to find. House was clean, beds and pillows were comfortable. Walloon Lake has a small, but very nice, downtown area with a couple of nice restaurants and a gourmet grocery store; both of which came in very handy. Rated communication 5 stars, but really none was required. Check-in worked as described and instructions in the booklet were clear on what to do for checkout. The only downside was that the furnace was loud when starting up (sounded like it might need service & that might resolve it), but there are 2 doors between it and the nearest bedroom, so it wasn't a factor. Overall, very happy with our stay.
