We booked this villa for a family holiday and chose it for its location to the beach and amenities, but the villa itself needs some serious TLC:- The photos on the website are not a true representation of how the villa looks- The tiles around the pool were cracked and loose, we bought the children swim shoes as it was dangerous- The microwave was rusty and dirty- Every time we used the oven it shorted the whole villa so we lost power- Nowhere to hang up wet towels and swimsuits inside, so used soggy towels all holiday (weather wasn’t good enough to hang outside)- Strictly one towel and one hand towel per person. For a family using the pool, going to the beach and needing to shower one towel is not enough- Heating the pool costs extra and no pool net to remove insects- The skylight above the dining table leaks when it rains- The downstairs rooms smelt damp and musty, the drawers smelt so bad we didn’t put our clothes in them- Mould in the showers- 1 shower had no curtain and after a storm smelt of sewage- The listing says all but one room has access to outside space, downstairs only 1 of the 3 had access and the 1 that did was to the car port. The upstairs rooms were to a tiny balcony with no furniture- The bedroom furniture and bathroom cupboards need replacing, they’re tired, water damaged and unusable- Some of the window blinds didn’t work so were permanently down- Outside cushions were permanently wet- Ping pong table on the verge of collapsing
