1. Garage nicht nutzbar, zu eng, kein Aussteigen möglichverdreckt. 2. Bett im Schlafzimmer, Kopfteil zerrissen, 3. Duschvorhang verschimmelt,4. Steckdosen abgekebt, 5. Sitze Terrasse löcher im Rückenteil. 6. Steckdosen viel zu wenig, 7. Fahrstuhl nur für diese Wohnung nicht nutzbar. Super Anlage, sehr geflegt. !!

Appartement très bien situé pour visiter le lac de Côme et vue magnifique sur le lac comme le montre la photo. Cependant plusieurs problèmes rencontrés: chasse d'eau des toilettes qui ne fonctionne pas( l'agence me dit qu'elle envoie qu'une personne va venir réparer mais nous n'avons vu personne, aspirateur cassé( on me dit qu'il va être remplacé, mais rien),pas de ventilation dans la salle de bain et fenêtre cassée et condamnée ,cela génère une odeur épouvantable de moisi et d'égout toute la journée , tête de lit déchirée et fenêtre cassée dans la chambre et un soit disant un garage qui s'avère être simplement un box dans lequel il est impossible de garer une voiture.On est loin du "luxury" appartment indiqué sur le site

Truth about this apartment: Description and Pictures are a cover up for crappy apartment conditions. No wifi when we arrived(even tho it’s in the description, next day after request property management brought a WiFi puck), Bed is literally falling apart, we didn’t have hot water for two days, garage was filthy and way too small for any car(barely would fit a fiat 500) you will park down the hill and walk 5-10 minutes every time, stairs inside the apartment itself(and for tourists elevators in the bldg is off limits), there is a steep pitch in the bedroom and upstairs bathroom(you will hit your head if you are tall), fans in the apartment were broken and had to ask for new ones which were also brought, paint on the walls is peeling and windows are broken/falling apart, expect to wear swimming caps in the pool and you only have one pool bed assigned, breakers trip, had some bugs biting out feet in the living room, paid 1123 for 5 days and this apartment is definitely not worth it.

Not what we expected

First the positive things: - The facility is in a good renovated condition. - The view from the room and the balcony is fabulous. - The location is very central and you can reach everything by car very quickly. Also on foot you are quickly in the village or on the beach. Now the bad things and why we wouldn't recommend a stay in this property: - it's too expensive for what you got. The flat needs some renovation. All windows are old and one of them is totally damaged. You can't close it. The other one is broken at the frame but can be closed. The last one is damaged at the handle. - The toilets stink terribly of feces. I don't know if a pipe in the wall is broken or if the piping system was installed incorrectly. However, you can not leave the doors open without everything stinks. - you pay 140€ for the cleaning, but as we arrived the flat wasn't really cleaned up. So we had to clean the dishes first. - you need a bath cap to swim in the pool which is very annoying. - one light on the night table is broken and in the shower the grille ist rusty. So only two stars from us. Maybe the staff will invest some money in this flat to bring back the glory what the pictures shows. Then maybe the price is acceptable.

(Remise clefs, visite des lieux et connaissances règles de la résidence) Conduite de la concierge inadapté (surveillance ; dénonciation car non port du bonnet de bain / contrôle du tri des poubelles) Absence de fauteuils de bain et parasol à la piscine (non information de l’Agence en début de séjour de ces indisponibilités pour cause de covid) Absence d'eau chaude en début de séjour (thermostat et ballon remis en marche par nos soins) Ustensiles de cuisine vétustes, en mauvais état, voire dangereux. (Photos disponibles de poêle dont TEFLON détérioré., assiettes non lavées ; hotte tachée et grasse ; porte savon douche en métal rouillé et sale) Absence de Volets, rideaux dans la chambre, non précisé Le matelas du lit bas de gamme inconfortable et posé sur le matelas principal du lit La climatisation en panne et non réparée (photo à l’appui /température de plus de 30 degrés dans l’appart et la nuit intenable à l’étage)

We are now back at home in Brisbane Australia! We found it easy to book our apartment using your service and the information and directions you provided by email were good. There was no problem finding the place as one of your staff escorted us to the property and showed us the basic details. We found the apartment to be well equipped with the only item missing a microwave. As we were in Mezzeggra during March we found that eating options were limited and we had to travel to Lenno or Tremezzo for meals. While this was not a problem a list of nearby restaurants and their opening hours would be useful to have in the apartment. A restaurant we would recommend is L’Osteria near the church in Lenno. We ate there twice. Also Azalea in Tremezzo was very good. The apartment is in a good location for access to the many villages, villas, lake trips etc in the area. We particularly enjoyed Varenna, the cable car ride to Pigra, and Villa del Balbianella is a must. The corner Cafeteria Gelateria in Mezzegra has great coffee and cake and the local bakery (if you know where to find it!) has good breads. We would like to thank Viviana for her help and prompt replies to our emails while we were at the apartment. We would recommend the services of Happy Holiday Homes to anyone looking to stay in the Lake Como area.

Thank you very much for this email. We do have some feedback.. The office staff were very happy, and helped contribute to a sense of engagement and interest in our visit, we were escorted to our property and given a tour. This helped us settle in! The office was easy to find, and the service and communications excellent. The instructions for returning the keys were also clear. The flat itself is in a brilliant location with easy access to a number of venues. In the area, we really enjoyed La Darsena, the walk up to church San Martino, and the boat trips across to Bellagio and Como. There are lots of beautiful villas and properties around. Hope this helps, thank you!

Brentano Elegante was just superb! The standard of accommodation was very high and the condo was fascinating to explore. It also offered tennis facilities and a great outdoor pool. The complex was a short walk from the grocery shops in Mezzegra and a 5 minute drive from the nearby visitor attractions so it was ideal for us!!

We enjoyed a beautiful week on Lake Como as part of our vacation in Italy. We didn't want to leave! It was like paradise! We loved our apartment and found all the central lake activites and attractions really nearby. The complex was great and offered us a pool, tennis and also lake views from our balcony towards Lenno. Thanks so much for making this place a real highlight for us!

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a fantastic stay in this holiday apartment. It was a really good size for just 2 people and we loved the contemporary style and the unique complex surroundings. The pool and tennis courts were so much fun and we found loads to do on the central lake. Mezzegra had some useful supermarkets and also a really good little bakery. It was such a great location for reaching the villas, Tremezzo and the main ferry stop in Cadenabbia. The lido in Lenno was fun in the evenings as it doubled as a small nightclub. There were lots of restaurants and local bars to enjoy along the Tremezzo shore too. We drove here but noticed there was a bus service in the town so I think this place would suit most people. A really great holiday so thanks!

Brentano Elegante

My husband and I enjoyed a really fabulous stay in Brentano Elegante. The apartment was just perfect! Very stylish and comfortable throughout. There was a great little sunny balcony and the views were really pretty. It was lovely to soak in that tub! The village was easily accessible from Villa Carlotta and Villa Balbianello. We enjoyed lots of great restaurants nearby like La Darsena and Locanda la Trilindana. Thank you Happy Holiday Homes for recommending those great places to us! The friendly guys in the Menaggio office were so great at helping us with our itinerary. We had a rental car with us which I guess helped us alot during our stay. The ferries were really fast and took us to Varenna and Bellagio - which were just so dreamy! Thank you for a wonderful stay on the lake!
