Great location!

This is our third time visiting Indian rocks, but our first time staying in this condo. It was very clean and the location could not have been any better.

Two weeks on the beach

Perfect place to stay on the beach. Great pool, amazingly wonderful, clean, spacious condo. Walking distance to everything!

Family Vacation at Island Sands in Indian Rocks Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Island Sands is the perfect place for my family's vacation. This is our second year in a row staying at Island Sands. The condo is absolutely beautiful and has everything you would need for your home away from home. All of the appliances are practically brand new, the kitchen is extremely nice and roomy, as is the dining and living room. Each bedroom is spacious. The pictures of the condo are excellent but the condo is even more unbelievable in person.Everything you could want is within walking distance - pool, beach, restaurants and, of course, the ice cream shop.We are already looking forward to our next trip to IRB. Sue is extremely easy to work with and we cannot recommend her and Island Sands enough ... we are so pleased with everything about Island Sands and feel so fortunate to have found these condos last year. I am sure we have found our vacation destination for many years to come.

Overal it was great! Beds could have been more comfortable and there were extra pillows but no extra pillow cases to put on them. Plenty of room to spead out! Would stay there again!

Beautiful Condo with tons of space

The property is beautiful and very well equipped. It is a second row property so you only have a small window of a view of the Gulf from one side of the dining table. BUT, it is steps to the beach and has a nice heated swimming pool with great lounge chairs. My sister-in-law put burgers on the new grill for dinner one night. We travel with my husbands two sisters and their spouses each year in March for 4 years in a row now. This was a great experience for all of us. We loved the closeness to the grocery store and spent time going back and forth on Gulf Blvd to different restaurants each night. We highly recommend this property. The managers are very responsive. It is very clean and was very well set with garbage bags, dish tabs, dish soap. The beach towels were great and the new appliances are beautiful!One thing that bugged us was the close proximity to the road/intersection. The traffic while trying to go to sleep at night was loud. The revving of motorcycles and trucks was annoying. It was a minor issue.

Great location

This is a great property with tons of room and right where you want to be. Pool is great. Beach is amazing and big so it wasn’t too crowded. I’d definitely go back!

Lovely!

This unit has everything you need to enjoy the beach! Nice pool that walks right out to the beach. Covered parking, beach toys and beach towels. Easy walk to lots of great restaurants! Gorgeous new kitchen and floors. Very spacious and nice big balcony with partial ocean view.

My birthday vacation

We came for a week long birthday celebration! The first 2 days it rained all day! We were so happy to have such a beautiful condo because we stayed in and played games and watched a movie! The condo was large enough for my family of 6 adults and we hosted other family members for dinner! I would definitely rent here again. The beach was beautiful and it’s close to restaurants and shopping!

Relaxing beach vacation

We enjoyed our stay a lot. Spacious comfortable accommodations on the beach. Well stocked with beach chairs and floatables. Perfect for sunset viewing. Clear waters. Saw manatees and plenty of fish. For eating we highly recommend: Guppy’s Pipos and Betty’s The ice cream store on the corner. Crabby bills Stay away from Pj oyster

Fantastic Week at IRB

Beautiful condo! Spacious and comfortable for us, our 2 adult daughters, teenage son and his friend. (6) Much appreciation for the cleaning staff as the condo was spotless and not a thing out of place. Very impressed! Kitchen is nicely stocked with everything you could need for your stay. Beach storage cabinets stocked with beach essentials and the owner dropped off 4 new beach chairs. We loved the beach area and everything IRB has to offer. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great place

We loved so much about this condo: -Convenient location to IRB restaurants and stores -Roomy 3 bedroom with bath for each bedroom -The most well stocked as far as kitchen, I have ever rented. Sharp knifes, pans, measuring cups, etc. -Very kid friendly. Games,etc. Would definitely rent again. Only negatives: - Not much ocean view, but so close we just walked down -Upstairs very loud and very annoying when they are up early. -You have to make frequent trips up the stairs, by very stinky garbage.

Island Sands Consi

Beautiful and spacious place, well stocked, warm pool and short walk to the beach. Now for the bad news. This place was poorly built with no soundproofing anywhere. This unit faces the street so all the street noise is loud. Worse though, is the noise from the floor above. We had 2 families with 5 kids under the age of 7 above us and it sounded like a bowling alley as the noise was amplified into our place. If the noise doesn’t bother you then this is a great place.

Perfect condo for an adult trip or large family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 2nd year staying at this condo for the week and we just love it. We check in on Sat and for the most part our cars stay parked as there are so many places within walking distance. There is the perfect amount of space for each couple to have their own space or for us to gather as a group. Condo is supplied with all necessities you need. The only thing that I would suggest is if you will be in the front room (not suite) to bring a fan. For some reason that room is hot even with ceiling fan. Also so you are not suprised, this is a lower level unit so if it is rented, you will hear noise from upstairs if there is children especially. However, we will be renting again!! Great place!!

Lovely week at the beach

We loved staying at this property. Communication with the property manager was quick and satisfactory. It was wonderful to be right by a beautiful beach. The pool was also lovely. There was some deferred maintenance (loose cupboard doors, sliding door screens that wouldn't track), but it didn't take away from our week in any way. It felt like a well-loved beach house. The condo was probably the most well-stocked of any that we've ever stayed at. There was every kitchen dish and gadget that one could possible imagine, and the kitchen was big enough for three of us at a time to work in. It was great to have a washer and dryer. We loved the giant sectional in the living room. The beds were very comfortable (although in both master bedrooms the sheets didn't stay on the beds very well). Having one bathroom for each bedroom was also a bonus. It was nice to have parking right under the condo. The condo's deck faces another building, so the view of the ocean is only at one corner of the deck. However, the deck is roomy and full of places to sit, so we enjoyed it. Indian Rocks Beach is a busy place during the spring break season, so the one thing we were a little disappointed in was the noise. The condo is right on a major road, and the traffic noise was very noticeable, especially in the front bedroom where we stayed. There seemed to be a lot of traffic even at night. Sirens went off multiple times every day. It didn't affect our vacation, but we would have enjoyed a more quiet atmosphere. The condo is within walking distance of a good Cuban sandwich, other restaurants, and across the street from 100 flavors of ice cream! All in all, this was a fantastic place to stay, and we loved it.
