We were a party of ten (Two families with teenagers from 13-18) so we had the whole house. The house was spacious and clean. The ground floor consists of a double bedroom, wet room/wc, fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and fridge, living / dining room and a utility room with two tumble dryers and another washing machine with access to upstairs. There is also a patio and rear lawn area. The middle floor is at front ground level with a large L shaped fully equipped kitchen With dining area to seat 10 and a living area. The large fridge freezer has cold water and ice dispenser. Large digital TV with free wi-fi a balcony and a toilet. Upstairs is a large double en-suite room with bath & shower, a twin room, another bedroom with large twin bunk beds (sleeps 4) and another shower room / wc. The kitchens were very well equipped and the furniture was comfortable. We had a great time and booked 2 outings with SeaSports South West which the house owner Sue runs with her family. Five of the kids had a 1 hour paddle board lesson and another day six of us took out three double kayaks. It was great fun and very reasonably priced - it is also safe as the sports are based in the marina and river estuary where it can be supervised by the SeaSports team especially if you aren’t having a lesson so don’t have an instructor with - just booking the equipment as we did with the kayaks. It’s a friendly family run business. Teignmouth is small and has nice pubs / restaurants and cafes. They are the best beaches we have been on in the uk and two of us enjoyed running along the seafront and up the hill in the morning. We had a great time and highly recommend it.
