We spent a, very rainy, 4th of July weekend here with our son and a friend of ours. The location was exactly what we were looking for, secluded with a great view, even if the weather didn't cooperate. The cabin was nice, the kitchen well stocked and it was generally pretty clean. We did have a problem with ants in a few places, but that can be common with a lot of rain in the area. There was a bit of a musty smell, especially upstairs, which might be caused by the fact that there are no AC vents upstairs. They did have a portable unit, which helped a bit, but it was still pretty stuffy. Also, one of the bedrooms upstairs is actually in a common area without a door.We had a lot of automated texts and emails from the hosts before and throughout our stay, but we got no reply when we mentioned the ants after check out. Also, we had a bit of trouble finding the place: we were actually going the right way, but there was a fork in the road and a blind curve that made us wonder. A bit if extra description of the driveway after the gate would have been helpful.
