Relaxing and welcoming. We love the access to the beautiful out of doors. We have family who day trip from Austin and we love the spacious porch and yard to the creek

This is a lovely place. Tho it rained our whole stay, and we couldn't enjoy time in or at the water, it looked amazing from the house. I will say the trek down to the water can be a bit treacherous if you are a little "older" - a handrail at the stairs would be a great addition. Regardless, we had fun watching football and exploring the area. We will definitely stay again and recommend to others!

Beautiful view of Cypress creek from the back patio. We had stayed in the smaller house next door at a previous date. This time we were with another couple and this home was a good size for that. The Cypress creek was a wonderful 70 degrees mostly shaded. The water was lower this time but didn’t affect us at this location. Very close to Wimberly’s restaurants, shops, HEB, and ACE hardware.

We came for a girls weekend, and it the house was perfect for all three of us. We enjoyed hanging out by the creek in the afternoons. We also enjoyed being so close to everything in town.

Very warm and cozy little home with a tranquil view of the creek. A very relaxing weekend, just what we needed ! Downtown Wimberley was a very short drive.

The Azul Casita was home away from home. This little piece of heaven has everything you are looking for. Our family enjoyed the crisp clear waters of Cypress Creek and the beautiful home. We fished, swung from rope swings, explored nature and watched fireflies light up the night. Connie was an excellent host and speaking with her was an absolute joy. Thank you Connie for allowing us to experience this heavenly place. We are going to make this our yearly spot from now on.

Amazing Stay

This is my family’s third time to stay at the casita. We’re absolutely love the proximity to the river and the beautiful cypress and open land across the river. The kids loved exploring the river, mini waterfalls, and observing nature (birds, fish, tadpoles…). The adults loved floating in the cool water. Bonus, though we were there in mid to late June, we still got to see fireflies every night! This is a very special place.

Great location and loved the creek view. Well stocked and comfy beds. Need more instruction on how to work TV. Town of Wimberly is super cute and relaxing. We had lots of fun!

Family time

We love staying on cypress creek it is quiet and calm and safe. Just what our family needs. One problem we experienced was finding the entry code when we arrived. On previous visits I think it was in a welcome note a few days before arrival. I coulnot find it or our host’s phone numbers. I went through my mail and finally found the code but it wasn’t with my recent communications. The cabin and grounds are lovely and we had a great visit after we got inside

Nice getaway before the new year

Relaxing getaway. Our first time trying out VRBO and Wimberley. Home has pretty creek and very close to groceries and local market square.

Perfect getaway!

We loved our getaway at this charming cottage. The river felt so secluded and serene. And the house was well decorated with all details covered. Such a great place to stay!

The perfect getaway!

This place is in such a quiet, beautiful location, but is very convenient to all of the great shops and restaurants in Wimberley. The back deck was the best place for morning coffee and birdwatching. I hope to stay again very soon!

Obviously, the photo above is not me. However, it is my grandson, and that big fish is one of many that he caught in Cypress Creek at Azul Casita. He fished while we worked on the cottage. It was quite a summer.
We would work all day and then stop and enjoy the evenings on the back deck until we just had to go on home and get a little rest.
We even talked about moving there we liked it so much. Then I thought about moving and decided we would give others a chance to enjoy this great place.
My husband and I have been living in Wimberley full time for the last 2 years, and up until then, we spent every weekend here. Our whole family is here. Our 2 sons and our grandson and granddaughter, who is a cheerleader for WHS. We have a very full life just keeping up with all of their activities, but enjoy the vacation rental business as well. That is why we bought Azul Casita and her next door neighbor Amarillo Casita. We are happy to report both cottages have been renovated and are ready for happy, fun vacationers to visit. Give it a try, you will be glad you did. A little piece of heaven, and throw in a little magic, await your arrival.

We chose this property because of the absolutely gorgeous setting and The wonderful cool, clear, deep water here on Cypress Creek. There is no other place like it in Wimberley. We feel so fortunate to be the owners.
Maybe retire here. What a thought!

This property has such a unique location. We are only 1.5 miles from the downtown square, but when you are here you feel as though you are far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You are able to unwind, relax and just be.
However, if you demand more action, just drive 1.5 miles and you are there.
