First, this is a great rental. Spacious enough for our extended family of 8 to stay comfortably. One block to St. Charles St. streetcar or quick Uber/Lyfts. Out of the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter, which was what we wanted. The location made it easy to see all of NOLA (garden district, magazine street, city park, etc). Air conditioners worked great. All electrical items (lights, fans, kitchen appliances) worked you just have to use your noggin to figure out how far to turn the light switches so they don't flicker (this has to do with ballasts, reostats, and the type of bulb. I will not get into that here, but in a nutshell there is nothing wrong with them). The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, glasses, mugs, pots, pans. Plenty of towels, bedding, tp, papertowels, cleaners. I don't understand the negative reviews I saw. This was a great spot and I sum it up to people looking for something to complain about. If you cannot handle 2 flights of stairs do not rent this large, exquisite apartment because there are stairs, just like it says in the description. The only reason I did not give it a perfect 5 is the wifi. It was available but I had to call the first day to get an updated password so we could connect but it was not strong. Only Verizon Wireless service phones were strong enough to find and use the free wifi, AT&T service phones were never able to connect. Could use a little TLC but what building in NOLA couldn't. Overall, we all agreed we loved the rental and would stay again.
