Beautiful home and view of Lake Metonga. The deck overlooks the Lake. Home was clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable. Price was competitive with other lake homes.We will reserve a stay for next August.

Beautiful property and lake! The home was lovely and just what we needed. It was as expected. It made us feel at home. The only issue we ran into was not knowing how the coffee maker worked. Not sure if it wasn’t working or if it was operator error. Thank you again. We would definitely recommend

4 out of 5 Stars — Lovely Lake Views & Cozy Vibe, but a Few CaveatsWe enjoyed our stay overall, though a few issues kept it from being a 5-star experience for the price point.The HighlightsStunning Lake Views: The view of the water from the main living area and deck is gorgeous and definitely the best feature of the home.Spotless & Cozy: The main living space felt warm, clean, and comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a day outside.Things to ConsiderUnusable Basement: There is a strong, persistent musty smell downstairs, making the basement space unusable for our group.Tight Sleeping Quarters: The second bedroom is quite small with limited room for luggage, so it might be best suited for kids rather than adults.Pricing: Given the unusable lower level and compact second bedroom, the nightly rate felt somewhat overpriced for the effective usable square footage.A great spot if you only need the main level space and want a beautiful view, but worth keeping the room sizes and basement condition in mind when booking!

We’re thrilled you enjoyed the spotless main floor, cozy vibe, and those sweeping Lake Metonga views—they really are the highlight of the property. We appreciate you bringing the basement scent to our attention. After investigating with our turnover team, we realized a lower-level window was left cracked during a stretch of high summer humidity. Drawing in warm, damp air temporarily overwhelmed our dual dehumidifiers and created that musty atmosphere. We’ve updated our cleaning checklist to ensure all lower-level windows remain fully sealed during warm months so our dehumidification system runs at peak efficiency. Regarding the second bedroom, it features a standard Queen mattress and a full closet designed to keep luggage tucked away and maximize floor space. While many adult guests and families have enjoyed staying there over the years, we know every group’s space preferences vary, and your notes help future guests plan accordingly. Thank you again for helping us fine-tune the guest experience!

Our 2nd time coming back to this house. Beautiful views. The home has everything you need. Two minutes from the boat launch. We caught lots of perch, and saw eagles and loons. Very relaxing.

Lake stay

Stayed here while doing a jeep jamboree. Close to the casino which is where the event was held but a nice drive to a great cottage and lake. Did some swimming and fishing. Good time

Beautiful Location

We loved the lake! Close to boat launch. Easy walk to town. House was clean and comfortable. Nice having the grill! Quiet neighborhood. It was so pleasant sitting on the porch by the lake.

Weekend vacation

This is a beautiful home! My family stayed here, we have three children under the age of 4, they referred to the lake view as a beautiful “ocean” view. It was a lovely place to stay, clean, great room sizes and cozy. The owners are very respondent to messages and also extremely accommodating. I would recommend this location!
