The apt was clean, and the host was very responsive. It was a little confusing to access the building trying to open the lock to get the key, but door was already unlocked. Also, the hall is dark especially when the halls lights time out. Have your phone light ready. If you have heavy luggage, just know you have to carry it up a couple flights as there isn’t a lift. Overall, those are minor details we got used to. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend to others.

Location was excellent. Property was clean. The host took a long time to communicate and that was frustrating. There was not enough toilet paper for a group of 7. The stairs to the second level were shaky in some spots. The bedrooms need mirrors. On the whole it was a good spot for a large group.

The property was in a good location, allowing us to walk to almost every place we wanted to go. The house was clean and the host was very friendly and understanding when we would ask them questions.

The property was very clean and the location was excellent! All of us slept well on what seemed to be fairly new mattresses. The property owner was very responsive to questions via VRBO message. Check in was also very easy. There was also shampoo and conditioner and hand soap in the bathroom, which was a nice touch that is not always the case in VRBO rentals. I would stay here again.Note that the apartment is on the top floor of a building with no elevator. We knew that ahead of time and it wasn't a problem for us, but I thought I'd mention it to help future travelers plan.Also, this would apply to any rental in Porto, but there is some street noise because it's a city-center location. It didn't bother us, but I thought I'd mention it for future travelers.

Lovely Duplex Apartment

Although it's up three floors, the top floor duplex apartment was perfect for our group of 8 adults. Plenty of space for us all, and everything was in great shape.

Really nice place good for eight people Very close to the city centre really nice that it was on the top floor But there were construction noises that we were familiar with before we got there.

Porto Apartment

This is a fabulous 4 bedroom duplex apartment with a fantastic location. The only drawback is it is a 4 story walk-up. We all enjoyed our stay.

Awesome Porto Stay!

Loved the apartment and neighborhood! Our host was friendly, and helpful. He communicated well and always got back to me quickly on any questions I had. The apartment was decorated beautifully, had nice amenities and was very clean!

Great Location Great Place!!!

Really an amazing location and wonderful place… the only issue we had was it was unusually hot during the time in Porto … there is no air conditioning or fans and we could not sleep! But the place, location, and our host Petronella were all amazing!

GREAT LOCATION IN A FUN CITY

Apartment was perfect for our family of five adults. All rooms were nice and comfortably furnished and supplied with everything we needed. Location is on a small side street right in the thick of things. We walked easily everywhere we wanted to go, including sites, stores, restaurants and the waterfront on both sides of the river.

Wonderful Place to Call Home in Porto

We felt very at home in this apartment while staying in Porto. The central location was very convenient for all of our adventures. Great Place to Stay in Porto

We had a great time in Petronela's apartment. This apartment is in a very central area, with easy access to everything. Check-in was a little bit confusing but once we were settled in, we had no complaints. Very clean, quiet building, third floor walk-up. We would definitely stay again. Petronela is a really responsive and available host!

The perfect spot

We loved this location! It was within 5min of many sites and great restaurants. The owner of the property greeted us and gave us a tour upon check in. We visited when it was raining very hard and she allowed us to borrow her umbrella. All of the amenities were clean and the apartment was spotless. I would highly recommend booking through Petronela!

Stay in the best part of Porto

The place was very clean and very well kept. There is a bit of a walk up flights of stairs that I was not expecting, but not anything that could not be done. The host was great and very communicative and helpful. She let us check in early with our bags which was a great help.

Porto break

The property is clean spacious and very centrally located. Walking distance to everything, river is 2 minutes away and plenty of restaurants locally. Petra is very responsive to messages and is lovely. It is on the 3rd floor so lots of stairs to climb which was not a problem for us but Incase someone is elderly or has mobility issues. We had a wonderful stay.
