Very nice and spacious apartment, some extra sockets in the kitchen worktop would be good. And the sofa in the lounge was stylish but extremely uncomfortable, which was a shame as it is a very pleasant room to sit and relax after a day out exploring. Apart from that we loved it.

Very nice apartment in central city. Quiet and comfortable. Close to metro, shopping and can walk to just about everything. Hosts were very responsive. Great place!

Quiet oasis in the heart of the city

We truly enjoyed our stay in Porto - it was especially nice to be so close to everything so we walk. The back yard was quiet and fragrant with the orange blossoms and we enjoyed the fresh orange juice that we squeezed! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay!

Excellent location and responsive host! We could walk everywhere we wanted. The apartment and neighborhood feel very central and safe. There is a cute shop on the corner to buy wine, the market and many restaurants are nearby. There is also a lovely garden space which we enjoyed. A few things to note:— The third bedroom (game room) has a window into the outside hallway and less effective air conditioning than the two primary bedrooms. — The half bath (orange bath) is located off the patio. The other two baths are en suites in the primary bedrooms.

Great location/apartment!

Spacious and charming apartment, wonderfully located. Walk few blocks to Mercado Bolhao, other shopping, Ideale Clube de Fado, Portus shop for port and wine tasting. Would recommend!!

Fabulous Porto spot

The stay was amazing. We had no issues with check in, despite arriving late at night and the communication with the host was great from start to finish. We had a small issue that was resolved quickly and I just want to say how awesome the place is! Location , size of property and facilities are just perfect. Thank you!

Great location and great lodging

This apartment is in a great location. Walking distance from the river front and many sites. Cafe, bakery, and market close by. Lovely patio. We ate many meals on the patio dining table. Spacious with comfortable bedrooms. The host was very responsive. Easy check in. Parking very close by. Will definitely recommend to friends.

Central location

Confortable for breakfast on site and late easy diner. Within a range of 10 minutes of Ben Sento train station, grocery and restaurants. 25 min walk for the river border. Clean and matching description. Communication with the landlord are A1.

Great Location for Exploring Porto

The flat is a great location to explore Porto. Metro and buses are easy to reach. Downtown is only a few steps away and lots of hip places are around. Easy to go shopping or to get food to carry home or go out for dinner. we had an extraordinary week in Porto and enjoyed the evenings in the garden with a little port and some tapas. great to have a full equipped kitchen and a fridge. we will come again!

Did the trick for us

We spent 3 nights at the apartment and enjoyed our stay. It was nice to be in a central location with a fully furnished apartment at our disposal. It was super easy to get to from the airport (tram to Trindade station) and check-in was clear and easy. It was great to hang out in the back garden but the couch in the living room was not the most comfortable. The kitchen was small and fairly well stocked but there were a couple of appliances (the toaster and coffee maker) that needed to be replaced. Marcia was very responsive and the wifi was excellent. We found that the beds could have been more comfortable and quieter. The bathrooms and air conditioning units were very good. Overall, a great stay in Porto!

Stinky

This apartment smelled from the moment we walked in. We could not use one of the bathrooms because of the sewage smell. I had continual exacerbation of my asthma requiring an inhaler. Manager said they could not help until Monday ?2 days later). We were leaving that day. We would not recommend this place. ☹️☹️

Great location.. some issues with apartment

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Pros - central location close to everything, laundromat next door is convenient, modern kitchen. The bedrooms are small and did not have any storage, but there was ample storage in the hallway for 2 adults and 2 older children. Cons - Living room is on the small side, understandable for an older apartment. However, it is pretty cluttered and the furniture is not at all comfortable. It's not a great space for the family to just hang out. There were some electrical (fused bulb in bathroom mirror) and plumbing (backed up shower in 1 bathroom) issues that I hope will be taken care of before next guests arrive. The host was responsive and tried getting the shower issue fixed, but unfortunately it was not fixed.

Poor communication from host about important things

We stayed 5 nights (booked several months ago).It was only 2 days before the trip did the host mention the following:- the road in front of the house is under construction probably for the foreseeable future bc they are putting in a metro line / new station nearby. Construction starts around 630am - and it’s loud! - there are 8 steps getting up to the apartment. This is not noted in the listing. The host only told me this when I asked and said “they are easy”. Again - this is important to know in case you have big suitcases! - there is a tourism tax in Porto of 3/person/night. Not mentioned in the listing. When I asked the host about it they responded that as a traveller I’m supposed to know these things already. A bit of a rude response. - the 1/2 bathroom is on the outside. Again not mentioned in the listing. There were 3 of us traveling and the 3rd person didn’t feel comfortable going outdoors to use the outdoors restroom in the middle of the night - but again we didn’t know this ahead of time. - creaky bed mattresses - loud every time your turned! - also we arrived there on the day of Portugal’s power outage. Not ONCE did the host ever message us to ask if we were ok through that ordeal. We happened to have very sweet neighbors upstairs - an elderly lady and her younger family member who checked on us and gave us candles to borrow, and gave us some tips. But that’s it. Disappointed in the host! - at least location was great and it was clean and roomy!

Perfekt

Varit i Porto tidigare och har ungdomar som studerat där vid olika tillfällen och då bott på olika platser runt om i staden. Detta läge är perfekt. Nära till restaurangstråk, shopping, floden mm. Smidig in och utcheckning. Värden skötte det perfekt via meddelande i appen. Just när vi var där så byggde de om avloppssystemet på gatan utanför men inget som störde nämnvärt och det är ett stående inslag i Portos infrastruktur. Lugnt och fint i övrigt. Bakgården har blivit äldre sedan bilderna togs så inte så nytt som bilderna visar men charmigt. Allt som behövdes i köket för att laga middagar fanns.

Bonita casa en el centro de Oporto

La casa es amplia y cumplia con nuestras espectativas. Un bonito jardin con naranjos.Y a 2 minutos andando del Ayuntamiento y el Mercado. Aunque no todo fue como esperabamos. El wifi no funcionaba. Comunicado a la inquilina pero no se pudo solucionar. De uno de los baños el olor de alcantarillado fue horrible. Comunicado a la inquilina quien intentosolucionarlo pero sin éxito, elolor volvio. La penultiva noche tuvimos visitantes de 6 patas.

Clean appartment but more style over substance

The apartment is clean and well presented. However, the outdoor area was a massive disappointment. What wasn't clear in the description was that the apartment is above a launderette and the vent from the dryers etc. comes out right next to the outdoor table. Each day the table was covered in fluff from the driers - and the smell meant that it wasn't a relaxing area to sit. The kitchen was smart but the door handles were very difficult to open - particularly on the fridge and the dishwasher. The kitchen would benefit from additional utencils such as a collander and spatula's to stir/cook with. The apartment was in a commercial part of town yet was reasonably convenient for getting around. A major attraction in booking this property was the outdoor area. This was a disappointment and would not recommend.
